Inspiration from rewatched season 6, what if Killian had been the one to go save Emma from the wish reality.

Killian was pacing around the loft struggling to not panic. His Emma had just disappeared at the hands of the evil queen and sent into a unknown place.

After using a locator spell they discovered she wasn't in this land. So they were even more worried.

Killian had barely been able to yell at one of the dwarves before all of the sudden he disappeared and was transported into a forest.

He was confused until he found a note in his pocket that simply said.

Find Emma. She's in this land but only you'll be able to return her memories.

Killian sighed. "How am I supposed to find her in this bloody place."

Just then he heard a soft humming coming from the forest before him. He looked and saw Emma. Only not the Emma he knew, but instead a singing Emma who was wearing a pink dress with a matching cape while picking flowers.

Killian couldn't help but smile at the sight of her.

"Emma?" He said trying to get her attention.

She looked up and stopped humming.

"Who are you?" She asked cautiously resisting the urge to come closer to the handsome stranger. She felt a connection with him despite not even knowing his name.

Killians face dropped when she didn't recognize him. He hadn't expected her to but actually seeing the confusion in her eyes was enough to break his heart.

"Uhhh, Charles Swan. I'm new around here." He stammered.

"Then how did you know my name?"

"I had heard of your beauty from a village nearby and figured it had to be you."

Emma blushed and looked down. "Where are you headed? Perhaps I could accompany you there?"

Killian scratched behind his ear not knowing what to say.

"Errr, I actually have no clue where I should go. As I said, I'm new around here and my journey was a last minute thing. Is there any hotels around here?"

Emma shook her head. "No but I can bring you back to my castle. I'm sure we have a open room you could stay in for a night or two."

Killians smile grew and he thanked Emma.

"Are you certain I'm not intruding?" He asked.

"Of course! The three of us live in a castle with at least 30 rooms. We can spare one to a handsome gentlemen."

Killian again thanked her and the two walked off.

"So Charles. What brings you to the Enchanted Forest?"

Killian panicked for a second before coming up with a lie.

"The death of my brother. He passed years ago and living in the place we grew up together only brought me pain. I decided to try somewhere else for a change."

Emma frowned. "I'm sorry about your brother."

"Its alright love."

Despite that this wasn't his Emma, Killian knew that somewhere inside she was the same strong women he fell in love with.

Soon enough they arrived at the castle and Emma led him in to where her parents were.

"Wait here." She told him before going to her father.
