Sick

Emma gets a cold and Killian tries to take care of her.

It was early in the morning when Emma woke up with a sharp pain in her stomach and a throbbing forehead.

She accidently sneezed, waking Killian up.

"Swan? Are you alright?"

Her voice came out raspy, "Yeah I'm fine. I guess I caught a cold."

Suddenly Emma realized her throat was also extremely sore.

"I should probably get up and start getting ready for work." She said trying to get out if bed before Killian pulled her back.

"No way Swan. Your sick, you can't go to work. You need to relax."

"Killian really, im fine."

"You don't sound fine. Im sure your father won't mind if you miss one day."

"Killiannnn. Its probably just allergies I need to go to work."

Killian frowned not believing her and felt her forehead.

His eyes popped open. "Swan your burning up! Did you check your temperature?"

She shook her head and Killian ran downstairs to get the thermometer.

She took her temperature and frowned at the numbers.

Sure enough, she had a fever.

"Swan. You need to call in sick. I'll even do it for you."

"Fine. But only because I'm not in the mood for work. And my phones on the counter. You get to call my dad and tell him so he can't bother me."

Killian laughed and grabbed her phone dialing David's number.

Hello?

Hey Dave, it's Killian.

What's up? Is Emma ok?!

Yeah mate, she's fine. She came down with some sort of cold and has a fever so she's not coming to work today.

Oh ok. Does she want Snow to come over and keep you guys company?

Killian glanced over at Emma to see her vigorously shaking her head.

No were ok. I think she just needs to rest and sleep today.

Ok if your sure. Call us if you need anything. And tell Emma I said to feel better soon.

Will do mate.

He hung up and put Emma's phone down.

"What was so horrifying about having your mother come over?" He laughed.

"Nothing...she just is a little enthusiastic and right now I need quiet and calm. Plus I wanted to spend the day with my husband."

He placed a kiss on her forehead and smiled sweetly at her.

"Ok. Want me to put Netflix on?"

"Yes please. Finding Dory?"

"If that's what you desire love."

He put the movie on and slowly moved off the bed to go downstairs.

"Where are you going?"

"To make you some tea and breakfast. I'll be right back."

"Mmmkay. Hurry back."

"I will."

Killian ran down the steps and got out a mug and made Emma some honey lemon tea to help her throat and then made some eggs and toast before bringing it all to her on a tray.
