Vacation Home

So right now I'm on vacation at a sorta private beach type place that has a lot of really cute houses and some really nice ones and in the past week I've been here I have been imagining Emma and Killian meeting here in an AU....so here ya go.

Emma pulled her suitcase through the doorway of their rental house for the week. Although she was 17 Emmas parents still insisted on going on a family trip every year.

This year they were in a quiet neighborhood with a beach that rarely ever had people.

Emma went to her room which only had a bed, closet, night stand, and a television and began to unpack.

She heard her parents call her name.

"Emma your father and I are going to the store for a while. There is a bike out front for you so you can explore the neighborhood for a while. Just be back by 6:30 for dinner."

Emma looked at the clock...4:30. She had time to go to the beach and ride around a little bit.

Emma put her swim suit on and some shorts and a tank top before leaving. She got on the bike and rode around for a while admiring the houses. Then she went into the walkway to the beach.

The beach had very few people. Emma took off her shorts and tank top and walked towards the water.

She had barely put her foot in the water when a dog came out of no where pushing her the rest of the way in.

The lab started to luck Emmas face and she pet him while laughing before hearing a British accent come from in front of her.

The dog turned around and happily ran to his owner as the man hooked the leash back on. (No pun intended)

"My apologies love, Buckley here got off his leash and took off before I could catch him. Are you alright?"

Emma looked at the man and she had to take a second to respond.

He had ocean blue eyes with raven hair and he looked to be right around her age.

"I-I'm fine. No worries. I love dogs." Emma bent down to pet the dog again as the dog got excited again.

"I'm glad, are you new around here? I haven't seen you."

"Yeah. My parents and I rented a house for the week. Do you live here?"

He nodded. "My brother and live in Captains Quarters....I'm Killian Jones ."

Emma smiled. "I'm Emma, Emma Swan. "

"I like that....if you'd like I would be happy to show you around while your here." Killian said hopefully scratching behind his ear.

"Of course! My parents are going to be gone a while if you'd like to go now...that is, if your not busy."

"No! I can go now. If you don't mind I have to bring Buckley back home but after that I can meet you back here? It will only be a minute."

"Sure."

Killian smiled before taking off with his dog.

Emma took the time to lay out and get somewhat tan.

It wasn't long before Killian came back with a smile on his face.

"Are you ready or would you like to stay here a bit longer?"

"Let's go." Emma said standing up and walking besides him.

Killian took her everywhere. From the houses to a small shopping center by the front.
