Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Dean was now pacing back and forth in the waiting room, replaying what he had done a few minutes ago, he looked down at his watch, make that about an hour ago. He sighed and walked towards the stairs.
Cas was sitting in his bed staring at the walk opposite if him. Did Dean really kiss him or had he just imagined it? He gingerly put his hand up to his lips, hoping to feel a clue that obviously wouldn't be there. If Dean did kiss him it was a very brief, feather light touch, maybe even an accident. But it felt warm, in that brief second Cas felt warm. He shook his head he had other things he needed to focus on other than a possible kiss, like Sam for instance, and plus Dean is straight.
Cas looked around the room for a computer but found none, that's when he heard the door open, he turned to see Dean walking in holding a brown paper bag. 'Hey Cas' he signed, smiling slightly.
"Hello Dean" he signed back. Cas missed hearing Dean's voice, everyone else seemed to speak and sign but it was like Dean had given up on talking, and it hurt. Dean smiled and set the bag down in Cas' lap. Cas opened it up and found a blueberry muffin. He smiled and began eating, he looked up and saw Dean typing something on the laptop he brought in. He frowned, Dean normally would check on him some more. He's probably just worried about his brother. Or he's just disentangling himself because he kissed me. It could be both. It probably just the Same thing, I mean you were in many medications when you first woke up so you probably just imagined the kiss. He signed, he decided he would ask Dean if he found anything so he tried waving him down. Dean didn't look up, man did he hate Dean being deaf he never knew if he really didn't see him in if he's just ignoring him.
Cas stared at Dean willing him to see him, when he still didn't look up he crumpled up the paper bag and threw it at him, successfully hitting him in the head. Dean looked up clearly angry. "What? " he asked.
"Have you found anything on Sam yet? "Dean squinted his eyes and sun Ed for him to repeat what he said, Cas signed and repeated his question. Dean, now understanding the question shook his head. Cas sighed as Dean returned to typing his computer.********
Sam tried to keep his eyes open, but his head drooped and leaned against his left arm, both of them chained up above his head. Metatron hadn't done any physical damage to him yet, just mental but right about now Sam preferred if he would hurt him. He felt dazed as he looked around the room, Metatron had just left and each time he left he would be gone for an hour and a half. Sam needed to get out of here.
He looked up at the two separate chains above his head, he would have to break his thumbs to get out of the cuffs but not from this position, he noticed the the chains were bound to a pipe. He took a deep breathe as he pulled himself up on the chains and flipped himself around for that way his feet were gripping he chains. He begins to climb up the chains and can here the pipes begin to creak under his weight until it finally cracks. He falls down onto the ground with a thud, groaning as he rolls over in pain. The pipe let out a gas that made his eyes water, he started coughing viciously and he looked down at his hands still traded in the cuffs.
He bit his lip and closed his eyes as he put his one hand on a pressure point and pushed in hearing a satisfying snap. He bit his lip harder as he held in a scream, drawing blood as tears pooled his eyes. He did the same thing with his other hand, this time letting out a small scream. He now easily slipped out his hands from the cuffs and stood up, still coughing feeling extremely light headed. He went to the door, locked.
Looking around he saw a widow with a few crates stacked up next to it. He climbed up the crates and made the jump to the window sill. His fingers grasped onto the window sill desperately as he pulled himself up, he maneuvered himself around and kicked one of the window panes until it shattered, he covered his face with one of his arms as the glass flew around him, leaving some gashes on his arms. He pulled himself out of the window cutting himself some more and landed on his feet before falling down, breathing heavy, the pain now surfacing. He groaned as he unwilling pulled himself up off the ground and began running through the night. After about half an hour of running he collapsed into an alley, the pain nearly unbearable as a numb feeling washed over him, and finally everything went black.

Dean was now frantically searching for his brother it had been two days since Cas woke up and he hadn't found him. Cas was getting out of the hospital today so Dean would have to get a motel room. Either that or stay in an abandoned house. He was worried about Sam. Cas was sitting in the hospital bed watching something on TV. Dean really hadn't let him help, or talked to him much since the uh, kiss. He's pretty sure Cas doesn't remember it, but he can't be to careful. It'd been pretty easy to ignore him too, considering that he can't hear, he's been scrolling through video feds for the past hour and hasn't found anything. He was getting angrier by the minute, that's when he felt something hit his head for like the 100th time these past days, that's how Cas had been getting his attention.
He looks up angrily at Cas for interrupting him, but sees him signing something. 'Its Sam' Dean nearly drops his laptop from standing up so fast.
'What? ' he signs. Cas holds up a finger as he talks to what he assumes to be Sam on the other end, nodding. Dean tries to read his lips but can't make out the words. Cas then hangs up and turns his stunningly blue eyes to Dean.'Continue? ' Cas sighs and began to explain to Dean on how a man found Sam passed out in an alley way and called the hospital a few miles away from here, he has two broken thumbs, he's a bit battered, and has cuts littering his body and a few pieces of glass had to be removed, and his wrists seemed to be rubbed raw. But other than that he's fine and he just woke up, he was brought in last night and he's a bit dehydrated. Dean sighed in relief.
'You can leave I'll be released in two hours then I'll meet you there. ' Cas signed. It was a bit tempting but Dean shook his head no.
'I'm not going to leave you here especially since you'll have no way of getting there and you'll still be a bit sore and with Metatron on the lose. Are you crazy? ' Cas smiled and thanked Dean, he nodded in response and sat down in the chair bedside him.Dean looked out the widow as relief washed over him, he bit his lip he felt as though he was gonna cry but he didn't know why. He felt a tear slip down his face as a hand carefully held his. Dean turned to look at Cas who was staring at their hands shyly, before looking up at Dean. At that moment he felt so grateful to have Cas here and he felt like utter shit for ignoring him for the past two days.
"Fuck it. " he whispered as he leaned in and softly kissed Cas, this time he didn't pull away. Cas melted into the kiss as he pulled Dean closer, Dean climbed onto the bed, wrapping his arms around Cas' waist. When they finally broke apart Cas looked at Dean his startling blue eyes staring at Dean.
"I'm sorry. " Dean whispered, his breathe ghosting over Cas' lips. Cas smiled and kissed Dean lightly.
"It's fine. " Dean smiled and hugged Cas, safe everyone was safe, he felt safe.
