Dear diary,

Ethan's gone off with his family to the Bahamas for a week. He left Sunday evening. I missed him already. It was boring being cooped up in my house all by myself. I was lonely too.

So here's to another day of doing nothing over winter break. At least I made it through my first semester of college.

"Klaus," I gasped. I helped my door open, facing the man I was once so intimate with. He was really here.

"Hello, love," he smirked.

"You can't be here," I mumbled. "You need to leave actually. Leave me alone, Klaus."

"Danielle, we can get back together."

"What? No. Ew."

"Baby girl," he chuckled. "Just let me inside. And let's just talk this all out. We have a lot of history already."

"And some of it is missing from my memory I'm sure," I spat. "I want you to leave me alone. You only want me for sex. And clearly, unlike you, I'm still getting some. So you can go."

"You've slept with him? You're having sex with someone else?" He asked, tone deadly all of a sudden. He stepped into my house, pushing me back. He shut the door and pinned me to the wall next to it. All of it happened in rapid speed. "He's touched what's mine? He's gotten to experience how good you feel?" He asked, pushing my legs apart and slipping one of his between them.

"Yes," I said bravely. "And it's all because he took the time to get to know me. He didn't immediately try to get in my pants. And we don't have sex every time we see each other."

"Then he's not doing it right. You used to pounce on me. You wanted it all as much as I. And I want you badly, right now," he said and I shook my head.

"What happened to your other girl? That blonde you had feelings for?" I asked. "Did you get bored of her too? Thought you could just come back to me and I'd be hear with open arms?"

"I've gotten to know her. She's not that interesting. So yes, I've gotten bored...But you know what I remembered?" He asked, his head dipping into the crook of my neck and placing a soft kiss.

I wiggled in his grip on my wrists, both held in one of his hands above my head. I squirmed as he sucked on my skin now, sure to leave a mark. "Don't know. Don't care. You need to remember I have a boyfriend," I snapped at him. "Now get off of me, Klaus. I'm done with you. I mean it!"

He chuckled and pulled back, his eyes meeting mine. "I remembered how good you are. There's something still so pure in you. You have the looks of a sexy gypsy. And a dirty little mouth. Between your legs there's a euphoria. And I want all of it," he said. "I remembered you are the best I've ever had. In all my 1,000 years of life. Your sex has been the best. And I find myself craving to be with you every night."

"Well, its too late, you're too late," I mumbled weakly.

"Oh, and your blood. Sweetest thing in the world. I just want to bite all over you. Leave bite marks all over every inappropriate place for only us to see."

"Klaus," I grumbled. "Let me go and get off of me. Get out!"

"If you change your mind. You know where I'll be. My apartment was for US, Dani. But I want to show you more than what's in Wisconsin."
