TWENTY FOUR:
Sunday, May 22nd
12:05 AM"What do you got?" Marcel asked Diego as he approached us both. Shortly after Marcel sent his guys out, Cami texted him. She said that Basiana, the witch who hexed Kieran, said Klaus was indisposed. She said something about Papa Tunde's blade was given to her to use on Klaus to lift the hex. Instead of stabbing Klaus literally, she gave him the blade. And according to the witch someone finished Cami's task instead.
So I was losing my mind. My boyfriend was missing. It's been over an hour. I had no idea where the rest of his family was. Hayley was home, she arrived just after I left my bedroom to join Marcel. But there was no sign of Rebekah or Elijah. That had me worried too. So I was on edge. And on the verge of tears.
"We've looked everywhere for him. Tore apart the cauldron, the city of the dead. Wherever they got him, he ain't in the French Quarter," Diego informed us.
I covered my mouth, closing my eyes. Oh, God. How were we going to find him? I was panicking now-- "Marcel!" Someone bellowed.
I opened my eyes to see Elijah storming towards us, "Where is my brother?" He demanded to know. Loudly.
"I got guys out looking for him right now," Marcel said calmly as he was still approaching us. I gasped as Elijah began tossing bystanding vampires against the walls all around the room.
"Stop it!" I cried.
"Elijah!" Hayley yelled suddenly from above us, catching everyone's attention. Including Elijah who composed himself and finally reached us.
"Klaus threw one of his classic temper tantrums, snapped my neck, tried to take on a coven of witches by himself. He got dropped. I don't know where he is or how to find him," Marcel explained.
"They also have Rebekah," Elijah told us. Then he turned, looking around the room and pointing at every guy or girl standing around, "Every one of you will help me to find them! ...I'm gonna kill them all."

11:00 AM"Anything?" I asked softly. I was tired. I didn't sleep much last night. Cried myself to sleep when I did. Marcel, Diego, Elijah, Hayley and I sat around brainstorming places, people, and ideas. But so far there was no sign of Klaus or Rebekah.
"They're putting eyes and ears out everywhere; day walkers are working every contact we've got. Cops, dock workers, guys in the Treme. Word is out anyone trying to earn favor with me gets a lifetime of it if they find them," Marcel told me gently and I nodded, rubbing my eyes as I yawned.
"Good," Elijah chimed in from nowhere. He stood beside us now. "I need a pen and paper. Marcel, fetch them please."
Then he walked away. Marcel and I shared confused looks before following him. "Hey, am I taking orders from you now, or are we in this together?" Marcel asked.
We were in the study. Elijah stood next to the mahogany desk, removing his blazer/jacket. "Pen and paper, Marcellus. Now," Elijah snapped.
"I want her back just as much as you do, you know... The both of them," Marcel said and I sighed. Marcel went and dug around the study, fetching the pen and paper from the desk drawers.
"Why are you stripping?" I asked as Elijah was unbuttoning his shirt. My eyes taking in the random ink drawings on his skin. It was scripted words.
"Hayley!" Elijah called for the girl.
"Or ignore me," I mumbled, looking at Elijah. I scoffed and met Marcel's eye. He smirked back at me. Clearly understanding my peeved look. Elijah was an asshole.
