THIRTY THREE:

I spun around in a full circle for Klaus who was smiling at me when I stopped to face him. I raised my brows then, "so what do you think? Do I look ready for my first day of school or what?"

"I think you look gorgeous," Klaus assured me. He stepped into my beauty room, closing the couple feet between our bodies. "I think you're going to have a great day, baby girl."

"Well, thank you," I smiled, leaning in to peck his lips quickly. "And wish me luck. I'm going to head out now to stop for coffee and make it to campus early in case I get lost."

"You don't need luck. You'll be fine."

"Whatever you say. But I'll meet you for hot yoga. My last class ends at 12:30. I have a change of clothes I'm taking with me. So I'll see you at 1 o'clock for class."

"I'll be there."

"Okay. I'm nervous," I admitted and he chuckled. Klaus wrapped me up in a big hug and I sighed, wounding my arms around his neck. He rocked me slightly from side to side but didn't speak. "I don't have any friends. I don't know my way around. And—"

"And you're a big girl. You'll figure it out," he cut me off. "I have complete faith in you. You're the strongest woman I know. So you're going to smile, get your coffee, and drive safely to school. You'll make a friend. If you get lost and panic just call me so I can laugh—"

"Hey!"

"And calm you down. You'll be alright, love. I promise you, baby girl. If anyone bothers you, I'll kill them. So you have nothing to worry about," he grinned.

I laughed, kissing him again. "Okay, I'm going. Thank you."

"No need to thank me."

"Hey, you be good today too," I said, pulling from him and grabbing my purse filled with school supplies and makeup.

"I'll be on my best behavior," he smirked and I rolled my eyes. Klaus walked me out the room, downstairs, and all the way to my car. "I love you."

"I love you too," I smiled. He backed away, shutting my car door. I buckled up and got the car started. It was time to get a move on with my day now. Sophomore year, here I come.

"Oh my god, the picture you sent me," Brooke laughed. "You were so fall and now you're summer. Last year you looked ready to kick ass and this year you're above all that. Casual to chic, baby. You are slaying that outfit."

"Well, I was. I'm in shorts and one of the boyfriend's t-shirts. We just got out of our hot yoga session," I said.

"And how's that going for you guys?"

"Amazing. Klaus actually did each pose today," I laughed. "Usually he gets tired and gives himself a break for 2 poses or so. Today he did them all. Did he hold them? Ehh, not at all. But it's the effort that counts."

"I wish Dylan wanted to do yoga with me. I miss you, my yoga partner."

"I miss you too," I smiled. "You can always take Ethan. His mom told me she used to force him to go with her to her pilates sessions."

"Now there's an idea," Brooke laughed. "If only there was a way to convince Ethan and keep Dylan from getting jealous. The last thing him and I need is another thing to fight over."

"What now?" I sighed.

"I don't know. It's his senior year and all he talks about is moving away," she scoffed.
