"Where are we going?" I asked Klaus as he was getting dressed. He got home yesterday evening. Took me out for dinner in a different city. It was nice. Casual and simple. Then we came back to his house and as usual, sex was a must. We couldn't keep our hands off of each other.

"Not we. I'm heading out."

"Where? And why can't I go?"

"Have to go visit a few imbeciles."

"I'm going," I stated.

"No, you're not."

"Yes."

"No, Danielle."

"You can't make me stay," I argued. He looked at me with this threatening look and I huffed. "So why did you bring me from Wisconsin if you were just going to lock me up in your dull mansion?"

"There's an idea. Decorate. I'll be back, love," he said.

"I'm going!"

"No, you're not."

"How am I supposed to decorate? I don't even have a car to go anywhere to shop."

He rolled his eyes, "hurry up and get dressed."

"I need a shower," I smirked.

"Hurry," he repeated and I giggled.

Klaus held my hand as he let us in someone else's large mansion. He tugged me to the left and from the doorway I spotted a guy and a girl. My brows raised as she was using her finger to wipe the side of his mouth, then stuck her finger in her mouth, sucking on it with this smirk on her face. Okay, sexual? A little bit.

I tugged on Klaus' hand. Maybe we should leave before he does something flirty back. "Well, don't let me interrupt," Klaus spoke up, catching their attention as they both turned to face us.

"I didn't know you were here," the boy said, his eyes roaming over me now.

"Clearly," Klaus said snarkily.

"Well, who's this?" The boy asked.

"Someone too important to introduce to you," Klaus said simply. "But I thought I'd just pop 'round to celebrate Dean's successful retrieval of the vampire hunter. Yet when I arrived, I learned that not only was Dean unsuccessful, but that Elena killed the hunter."

"Well, maybe if you had let Dean use force on Connor instead of sending him in on a suicide mission," the girl chimed in.

"Maybe you should mind your business, wolf girl," Klaus told her.

"What do you care if Connor's dead, anyway?" The boy asked.

I have my reasons. They have ceased to matter," Klaus said, walking into the room and grabbing a filled glass of what I believe is whiskey. "Cheers."

Klaus drank the whole thing in two gulps and before either of the two others could say anything there was a knock at the front door. A familiar blonde stood there with a cardboard box. "Brought your stuff. Old laptop, your Jersey, the charm bracelet," the blonde said.

"Care...This isn't a good time," the boy told her, sighing.

"Just take it," she said, shoving the box in his arms. The boy sat it on the floor and I opened my mouth to speak when Klaus walked off, out the room and into the hallway where the boy and blonde were.
