Madelyn Turns 2

Roberta's POV

My my my ... I tell you my world has been flipped upside down ... and the only piece of sunshine left is my husband who is my rock and my baby girl who turns two today . She hasn't stop chasing me around the house and I know she doesn't know what going on yet but shell get the hint soon as we get downstairs. 

Me: Lyn ?

Lyn: yes 

Me: do you know what today is ?

Lyn: I don't know 

Me: oh come on you know ? I told you this yesterday 

Lyn: hmmm ... hmmmm... cake ? 

Me: hahaha you're so smart but today is your birthday !!

Lyn: hahaha my birtday?? 

Me: yes you are two now 

She shows me that she can put up the number two with her fingers and I laughed . We get back in her room and put on her outfit for the day which is denim blue shorts with a custom made Minnie mouse white and pink shirt sleeve shirt with her name on the back with the number two with glitter on the number two . The front has Minnie mouse and of course she jumped up and down when she saw it . She loves Minnie mouse . I put her on some pink glittery socks and her white and pink air force one's. I did her hair in two ponytails and added pink bows  I added her sparkling pink birthday pin . She is all set and I'm proud of myself now time to get myself dressed . She's become obsessed with watching me  get dress she just sits there in awe ... I'm glad that she looks up to me the way she does . That's what I'm here for ... her to have a role model . Well she has a lot and that's good enough for me.  I put on a white crew T-shirt and some light blue high waist jeans with that I put on my white air force's and put my hair in a high ponytail I apply light make up and grab Lyn and head downstairs where the rest of the family awaits ..

Everyone: Happy Birthday Lyn !!!!!

Lyn: claps and laugh 

I tell her to say thank you and she does in her cute baby voice ,gosh just think it was just two years ago when I laid eyes on her and became a mother . It's because of her that I am the woman that I am today. She literally changed my life and for that i thank you honey 💕💕.
After a day of fun im really surprise this little one isn't tired she most of the running haha . We are now huddled around her in her chair with a beautiful Minnie mouse birthday cake in front of her . She now's know the importance if the word hot . So she sits there with her hands on the side of her cake . We start dinging to her and she looks back and forth don't know what to she so happy its all in her face . When we say her name she screams out "meee" haha my baby .

After opening gifts and thanking everyone for coming out . I let her play with her gifts and had grace watch after her while i get ready to be the saddest girl.in the world my other baby is leaving tonight for his highly anticipated HIStory tour . He'll be gone for the rest if the year and man i am not ready at all .... after my loss the producers had respectfully decided to give the cash a break . That gives me time because i have a lot of planning to do and traveling . After the service im taking a personal break to myself . Me and Lyn are going to surprise my other baby all the way in another country. I know he will like that i just know it . I am now in lyn room as i slowly place my butterfly in her crib. As we make our way downstairs mike turns to me and hugs me really tight .

Michaels POV

I couldn't help it.  Literally all day i tried my hardest to just focus on babygirls party and now its time to face reality.  I'm really sorry i won't be there for her father service he was a really good man and i am so glad i got a chance to know him because without him i wouldn't have the courage to have his daughter in my life again . Its terrible that he's no longer here ... after watching Lyn fall asleep i know she is gonna wake up and ask for me and i don't know what her reaction will be but i know she will ok.  As we get downstairs and as bill put my bags in the car i looked behind me to look at my wife who has tried her hardest to be strong but i know her all too well this has become too much . I really wish she takes my advice about a vacation . She needs it but again she grieving .

Me: are you sure you're going to be ok honey ?

Roberta: yes babe I'm going to be ok . Go ahead you have another side of the world that is waiting . We'll miss you but we will see you again soon . I love you be safe and tell them hey for me .

Me: why do you have to be strong all the time ? Utilize the staff . I can see it in your face its becoming too much . You have soo much going on and you have a service to prepare for . So if you need Grace use her , use what's here to save you from a heart attack . I'm telling you this because I'm not gonna be happy when i come back and the mother of my child is in a hospital instead of in this home . I love you Roberta from the top of your black hair to the bottom of your size 7 feet . You got that ? I wish i could make this easier for you but i know i can't . Think of me when I'm gone . I know I ALWAYS think of you when you're not here . Kiss my princess for me .

At the end of that speech i knew she would be wet in the face and i was right . I hugged her tightly and she hugged me back just as tight i let her go and held her left hand . I took off her ring and put it back on her finger . My forever and always .

Roberta: forever and always . I love you oh soo much Michael . I will utilize whats here . Be safe and i will see you when you get back.

We kissed and i left . With her in my prayers i left to go make HIStory
