Another Premiere

Roberta's POV
I'm now home and it's been a few hectic days but it's all worth it because the premiere is tonight!!!!. I'm over excited I haven't gotten any decent sleep in days just thinking about it. Because tonight is the big night I've been up since seven this morning preparing. I'm now it the studio for fitting. We chosen a elegant, classic look for tonight. I picked out this wine red long dress that hugs my curves just right. It's long sleeve with roses on it. Lace too. It's a V-neck. I love it. I'm staring at myself in the mirror and can only think... Damn Roberta you did it again. You go girl!!! I picked out red heel to go with it and gold accessories to match. I'm now getting my hair done for this evening.
Jose : have you thought about what you want to do for your mija?

That's typical Jose. Ever since we met back in 1984 he has been another friend of mine. He gets me. He understands my hair, my style and me in general. Gotta love him. When he found out I had a girl. He has been itching to get in her hair but only one person gets to touch her hair and that's me. Hahahaha.

Jose: I'm just saying.
Me: well I was going to put her on a dress with a matching headband and leave her hair out. It's been growing a lot.
Jose: oh that's really cute. Well for you I'm going to just do the usual and then wrap it so when it's time to get you ready for tonight all we have to do is style it.
Me: sounds easy.

About two hours later I'm in the house with a house full again. We are doing nails and my toes. Madelyn is playing Demi, Maleigha new baby boy. Michael is getting dolled up as well. He is getting his hair done and putting up a fuss with Karen as usual hahaha.

Michael's pov
Oh man. I really don't like getting my hair done. It's a shame I'm a grown man who don't like getting my hair done. They have our outfits out in a suit cases. I can only imagine what Roberta's dress look like. It's like everything with her is a surprise but I'm the one with the surprise. She was told that the girls wouldn't be able to come and she was really sad about it but she understood. Well I was able to get them over here for this big night. I can't wait to see her face. Tonight is going to be epic. I can tell... I really can.

Roberta's pov
As I'm staring at myself in the mirror I am in awe. I look down to the little girl that's in a cream color ruffle dress with a flower headband around her head and a hair full of jet black curls . She has on ruffle socks and white shinny shoes on even though she can't walk it's still cute. She is sitting in her chair because I can't risk her getting dirty while we are getting the last minute things done. I'm in our room and Michael is in the guess room getting ready. I can't stop touching my dress. And thinking back to when I had my first premiere and how things have changed since then. I'm a mom now, a wife, an actress, a mentor... Just simply blessed. I have on red and gold heels and gold accessories. I have my hair in a updo leaving a few curls down. I get a knock on the door indicating that it's time to go. So Caleb took Lyn down stairs and I made my way behind them...

Michael's pov
As I am making my way downstairs I could only anticipate what my lady looks like. From what I heard from her last premiere was epic. She looked really nice and glowing. I'm so blessed that I'm able to see it. I'm happy to be able to live this moment with my wife. I'm dressed in a black and red tux. My hair is curled and I'm ready to go. I head down stairs and hear Caleb coming with baby Madelyn . She is always a pleasure to see. I grab her and bounce her in the air. She looks adorable in her dress and ruffle socks her mom sure knows how to dress her. I hear heels click and turn my head to see the women I'm proud to call my wife. In her wine red dress and red and gold heels . She is wearing her gold accessories and that gold ring that I was and still is glad to put in her finger almost two years ago. Her hair is in a classic updo with a few curls hanging. I'm stuck on this dress though. It fits her curves the right way and I now understand why she works out every day. To keep her curves right. I now understand.
Me: well baby you look beautiful. * gives her a kiss *
Roberta: * kisses me back * thank you baby.
I take a good look at her and can't believe my eyes. Her beauty has captivated me for so many years and every time I look at her it's like the first time I saw her. All over again.
Roberta: why are you staying at me?
Me: shhh I just want to look at you. I'm in love every time I look at you. I'm proud of you baby.
Roberta: *looks down trying not to cry* thank you baby. You don't know how much you believing in me means. I don't think I could do nearly all of the things that I do without you by my side pushing me to go further.
Me: I rather be here whenever you need me pushing you then anywhere else. Because of that look where you are at. Tonight is about the work you do when you are being pushed.
