A lot going on

Roberta's POV
Two weeks later...
I'm now sitting in my office looking at the letter of recognition. I am being honored at the lady of soul Awards the end of this month. At the same time Michael and I are celebrating two years of marriage. This is a lot. They are dedicating the entire show to me. Tributes and some of my dear friends are going to speak and reflect on me. I'm not sure who's coming yet. I just know that it will be hosted here in Los Angeles and I'm excited. My lovely husband who enjoyed his birthday very much two weeks ago is in the studio and later on me and him are to meet on set for the botdf video. Finally though... This should be fun and I'm excited. My thoughts are being interrupted by my phone ringing.
Me: hello
Mal: hey girl
Me:hey Mal. What's going on.
Mal: well what isn't going on. I have an agenda that's going to blow your mind.
Me: is it going to consist of three weeks.
Mal: well yes silly. And besides you have to be ready for a very big night. OK so we all know this week is going to be the video with Mike and your show. The next week will preparing for the awards and the video then the week after that will be the awards and your special anniversary!!!
Me: I very much appreciate that hahaha
Mal: I knew you would so I'll be there at one to pick you up and take you the studio with Mike. Frank will already have him there. Sounds good?
Me: yeah sounds good. See you at one.
Mal: OK later..

I continue to read over other paperwork and then I realized... I don't have long until I'll be overseas at work. I did a tour when I was 21 for a collection and I've been asked to do it again. I said sure because I love traveling and fashion. However I won't be on this tour for long. The Oscar's and Tony's are around the corner and I've been nominated for so much the Emmy's are at the end of this month and I am so excited. Now let me get back to this letter and scheduling...

Michael's POV
I've been in the studio since early this morning and now I'm on my way to do the music video for botdf. We've pushed it back because with everything that's going on between Roberta and I we finally have time to do the video. I haven't not seen my baby since I left but she was sleeping. I miss her.. Truly I do. We are finally on set of the video and honestly I've never seen so much lights since being on tour. I see another choreographer teaching the dancers or either going over it. I also see the directors speaking amongst themselves then I see Karen which means I have to get ready... I'm excited.
Karen: hey buddy
Me: what's going on karen
Karen : nothing much ready to get started?
Me: yeah sure. Where's Roberta?
Karen: she's on her way.
Me: OK good.
She does my hair and makeup and the stylist are discussing my outfit. I get out my dressing room and look at the name on the other door that says Roberta Strawder-Jackson. It makes me miss her more...

Roberta's POV
So after working out and playing with my princess I got her dress in jeans and a pink long-sleeved shirt and black boots. I threw on jeans and a white long sleeve shirt and black boots as well . After throwing my hair in a messy bun and putting Lyn's hair which is growing very nice in a ponytail and putting a purple ribbon on it . While getting us ready with the help of the staff I started to think about how it use to be me getting ready and how it didn't take much to get me ready. Now I'm getting two people ready.. Myself and Lyn. That's the reality of being a parent. It no longer becomes all about you it's now about the child and what he or she wants and needs. I seriously love being a parent. Madelyn makes the job worth while. We are now in the car on the way to the studio. I look over at Lyn who's in her carseat knocked out... That's my girl hahaha. I am now saying hello to the cast and see my other half talking to the producers. I carry Lyn's carseat in my dressing room and lay her down on my couch and put a blanket over her. Karen came in... My girl.
Karen: girl where do you be hiding out?
Me: you silly I've been here but I have to go on my modeling tour soon.
Karen: so you have to leave. For how long?
Me: for about two months.
Karen: that sucks. When do you leave?
Me: the beginning of October.
Karen: damn. Did you tell Mike yet?
Me: no. I just found out today.
Karen: are you taking Lyn?
Me: yeah. I want to take her with me. I want her to get a first taste of what I do. I know it seems like I'm always at home but I am a model but I'm a mother first... You go it?
Karen: yeah honey I get it. Well have fun and I can't wait for your anniversary!!!
Me : thank you and girl I don't even know what I want to do.
Karen: well that's why you didn't marry yourself silly.
Me: yeah absolutely hahahaha.
