The Bad News ..

7 months later ...
March 22,1997

Roberta's POV

Nothing much has happened in these past seven months.  After the movie modeling , being Madelyn's mommy ,and being a wife has been keeping me busy.  Lyn is almost two im still shook haha . I signed another endorsement but with Children's Gap . I love their store i get my nieces clothes from their and baby gap is where Madelyn has VIP access to the most cutest clothes . The other day i got a call from the director of this movie called BOUND . He wanted to speak to me personally which was weird because most directors and producers speak to Malissa first but i took the call and the role of Vanessa Christine Dean . In the movie called BOUND . I start shooting in a few months actually this summer . Right now I'm playing in the playroom with Lyn . She has her own playroom due to the fact that the arcade room has big people games and mainly boyish games but we have a princess and she likes dolls and other girly stuff . Lyn has did a lot of growing . I still remember last winter she got the chicken pots man everytime she cried because she was uncomfortable i cried with her.  It was horrible.  Bless mike he dealt with it.  Her doctor told me that if i was going to hold her make sure she has on a onesie . The problem was i didnt want to hold her becauase i knew how uncomfortable she was . I'm glad she is doing a lot better and my pumpkin is back to herself . She talks a lot and she actually says words . Some is still baby gibberish hahaha . The other day she walked in the kitchen and said "mommy i want some" out of nowhere i fell out laughing and eventually i had to give her some of what i was eating which was pineapples haha. Mike is schedule to leave for tour this summer and I'm sad about it because i have to stay here and begin shooting . Well let me finish playing with my princess before its her nap time .

Michael's POV
In seven months nothing much has changed . My angle is going to be back on the big screen , my little girl became a trooper well her last name is Jackson so that's to be expected haha . Oh and me well tour time is approaching again for me this summer . I can't wait to see my fans but now that I'm a father its going to be hard to leave my baby behind seeing that she can't come . Ill just do what i always do when i get ready to go somewhere without her . I always take something of hers to make me feel better.  I already have my wedding band to remind me of her mother so it balance out in the end.  Right now i just came out of one of my last miniute meeting with everyone that's going to be involve with this tour.  As I'm in the back of the car i can't shake the feeling that something bad is going to happen . I try not to think about it but i woke up with this feeling and i can't shake it and the feeling is getting more intense as i approach the house ... this isn't going to end well i can feel it. 

Roberta's POV

Well isn't this a surprise i have two of my favorite girls here with me . Say'ri came to visit and as always Lyn is very happy that she's here . I'm telling you even though say'ri and Lyn are nine years apart they act like the are less than a year apart when they get together . Its super cute to me . They are quiet let me go see what they are up too ... as i get to lyn's room I'm in awe at what i see.  Lyn is laying on say'ri lap sleeping and say'ri is laid back sleeping as well with a book in her hand. So I'm guessing that she waz trying yo ready Lyn a story and she got sleepy too . Well never the less is so cute them too haha . I quietly pick Lyn up and put her in her crib and put her under the covers.  I picked say'ri up and put her in the guess room and put her under the covers . My two sleeping bugs haha . I make my way to my bedroom and got ready to make a few phone calls when my beautiful husband walked in the room. 

Me: hello baby . I've missed you .
Mike: hey baby i missed you too
Me: how was the meeting ?
Mike: it was good they ready for me . Everywhere is sold out that fast haha .
Me: i don't think you truly know how much people adore you .
Mike: i know now haha . What you guys been doing ?
Me: well me and Lyn been chilling and playing the say'ri came and now they both are sleeping. 
Mike : oh wow i didn't know she is here .
Me: yeah i put her in the guess room .
Mike: oh ok good. 

As i was going to respond the phone rung ...

Me: hello ?
Mom: hey doll how are you doing ?
Me: I'm alright how about you ?
Mom: I'm holding up.
Me: what's wrong

I can hear my mom getting ready to cry so i had to ask .

Mom: well the other day the doctor had some bad news for me and your dad .
Me: what happened ?
Mom: your dad is terminally ill . He's been sick for a minute but we decided to go to the doctor seeing that he wasn't getting better by now .
Me: * gasp loudly* oh no mom that's bad.  Very bad . Where is Daddy ?
Mom: he's in his den . He don't want to talk to nobody right now .
Me: oh ok i understand . Well tell him i said i love him and that he is going to be ok just keep praying .
Mom: ok baby i will i have to go i love you .
Me: i love you too .

I have never been so scared in my life . My dad has been sick for a while now but to hear that he is getting words is scary . I don't know what i would do without my number one man . My dad ...  i mean just thinking about it i can't help but to cry . Which of course caught the attention of mike .

Michael's POV

As I'm in the bathroom freshening up i can hear her conversation which start out as calm to panic which makes me worry . As i suspected when i came out she was in tears ... my goodness ..

Me: honey what's wrong ?
Roberta: my dad isn't getting better. 
Me: when dix you find this out ?
Roberta : a short while ago.  My mom said they went to the doctor today and he isn't getting better.  I don't know what i would do without my dad . I'm scared .
Me: oh no baby don't think that.  Everything is going to be ok . I just know it . Just keep praying honey .
Roberta: i most definitely will.  Thank you for being here .
Me: don't thank me babe . I will always be here .

Roberta's POV

After receiving the most horrible news ever . I calmed down ,prayed and waited for the girls to wake up.  When they did we played and showed Lyn and Say'ri the recording studio . After hours of fun it was time for dinner and Sarenity came and got her baby girl . We bathed our angle and got her in bed and after talking to my brother i cuddle up next to my beautiful husband and went to sleep with my daddy on my mind. ...

Lord let him be alright ...Amen ...
