"Oh my goodness! This is so exciting!" Quinn exclaimed next to me.
Ben had just told all the girls about the upcoming ball in four days. We are supposed to dress up as something. It was an underwater theme, but you could dress up as anything. Just like Halloween, but in the form of a ball.
"Yeah," I said halfheartedly. "It's great."
"Why aren't you excited? This will be so fun! I already know what I'm going to be."
I nodded. "I'm excited, I just already knew about it. Ben told me before everyone else."
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"He just told me. Like on our date right before this." I explained.
"You had a date with the Prince?!" She looked shocked.
"Oh, yes, he took me up to the roof. It was really nothing special." I waved the issue away.
"Okay, when did he ask you?"
"Just this morning," I nodded, confirming. "After breakfast."
"Well, I must say you've certainly had more dates than I have." She smiled.
I laughed. "I'm pretty sure that's impossible. You're so beautiful! How could he not like you?"
"I'm pretty sure he has his eyes set on you." She said with a weak smile. She almost looked upset.
Trying to change the subject, I asked. "How about we get out of this room," I motioned to the Women's Room around me. "And go up to my room to think about our costume ideas?"
"That sounds great, Grey. Let's go."

Quinn put her fingers on her chin, thinking. "What if we dressed you up as an angler fish?"
I just stared at her.
"No, okay. No angler fish." She giggled.
"I'm a big fan of this whole sea idea, but I just don't know what to do." I shrugged my shoulders. "And I love your jellyfish idea. That's gonna be a cute outfit."
She nodded and went back to the mini computer in my room that we requested for research. "Hmm, how about a manta ray?"
"Too big and floppy."
"What about a sea turtle?"
"No, I'm not that big of a fan of wearing a big shell on my back." I concluded.
"Ahh! Yes, this is perfect!" Quinn squealed. "We can dress you up as an angelfish."
"That would be perfect!" I grinned. "Let's get designing!"
We had planned to design each other's outfit for the Halloween Ball, so that it would be a surprise the night of the ball. I wanted a short, purple base for Quinn's dress, with pieces of sheer, colored fabric dangling past the skirt to act as the tentacles.
I smiled to myself, thinking of how I had made friends with Quinn. I was a little surprised at how friendly she was that first day we et at the airport. I assumed all the girls would be prepared to fight for the Prince, but Quinn was so easygoing and lighthearted it was hard not to like her.
I set my pencil back down on the paper, ready to work on the hair.

"Good Evening, Illea!" Carson greeted the camera. "Tonight we will be interviewing some of the lovely ladies here!" Everyone clapped as the girls all smiled."Let's get started, shall we?"
