- " Are we there soon ? My stomach hurts . " Alois complained.
- " Yes , very soon , just hold on. " Ciel reassured him.
What the hell was he thinking when he decided to invite Alois at his place?
After all the pain he had caused him leaving the poor boy alone would have been more than reasonable. However, upon seeing Alois' desperation , Ciel knew he didn't have the choice. Alois would probably have spent the night out in the cold and Ciel wouldn't allow this.
He had taken this decision on an impulse, not caring about the possible consequences.

- " Thank god we're here."
Finally ariving in front of his apartment, Ciel felt a knot forming in his stomach .
He realized he didn't have the keys. He started fumbling into his pockets with panic. No , it wasn't the moment for his keys to disappear !
- " Are you kidding me ?" the blonde growled.
- " I'm sure I have them.Just give me a second , please."
- " As if I had the choice . " Alois huffed.
The brunet had to suffer an embarrassing and seemingly never-ending moment with Alois standing behind him .
Ciel sighed in obvious relief when he eventually found the metallic item in his worn-out leather bag . He proudly shook his bunch of keys under the blond's nose. It managed to draw a smile from Alois .
- " Are you proud of yourself ?" he chuckled.
It was the first time Ciel saw Alois relinquishing his gloomy expression for a sincere smile and deep down , it warmed his heart .
- " Yes I am. " He laughed
Maybe this boy wasn't a lost cause, maybe he wasn't totally drowned in fathomless depths of suffering ... Ciel thought.
Am really worried about him ? Or am I just trying to reassure myself, to clear my conscience , to convince mydelf I didn't totally destroy Alois' existence ? Was it a selfless or selfish feeling ?
Ciel opened the door and gestured for his guest to enter the cramped flat.
- Mi càsa es tu càsa. He announced.
Alois complied and looked around , the slowness of his movements emphasizing the grace of his ethereal beauty .
Ciel followed him inside and closed the door.
- "So, this is my home, it's kind of small and messy, I hope you won't mind. " Ciel admitted with involuntary awkwardness and reserve.
"It's always better than my room at the psychiatric center." Alois answered .
