Ciel went through all the instructions once again as we approached the entrance of his house. And what house ! It was a real manor whose exterior was luxurious, adorned with rare plants of all colors and organized with care.
- Try your best to be charming, don't talk too much to avoid contradicting yourself, don't act like a savage and smile whatever you are told.
Stress had obviously taken its toll on him . As for me, I was feeling nothing but excitement.
There were no real consequences for me. I was just going to have fun. Or so I thought.
- Don't worry ! I'm not a bratty 4 years old. I know how to behave in society. I retorted.
- If you make the slightest mistake I swear I - Ciel began threatening me.
- Don't worry . I've attended countless balls, you know. I cut him off before he started a new monologue.
It had been like that all the ride to and frankly, I was growing quite pissed off.
- Hm, if you say so. He gave in.
- And you, don't forget to look like madly in love with me. I reminded Ciel.

- Behave as you would have done with Sieglinde. I said without really thinking about it .
- Sieglinde? W-what? First, how do you know her and secondly, how is this related ? He stammered, looking quite afraid.
Shit, he was not supposed to know that I had searched his apartment.
- I heard people talking about this in High School once ... You went out with her right? I asked
- No ! She is an old friend with whom I have not had real contact since high school. Not only you look like a stalker, but you're doing it wrong. He explained with hardness.
- Oops. I simply said, knowing I couldn't justify myself.
- You're starting to scare me you know. Ciel confessed.
- What about you , I didn't think I would meet your parents so early, babe ! I retorted , laughing.
- Shut up ! He ordered, all red. Don't call me babe. And this has nothing to do with the situation !
- Aw Seal I was just trying to be funny, no need to get all flustered ~ I giggled. But ... you never had a girlfriend? I asked, surprised.
- Of course I had ! Once , in primary school. he tried to defend himself.
- I see. I'll have to do all the work, then.
- The fact I didn't have a lot of girlfriend doesn't mean that I never - You know what , we're almost there, we'll talk about it afterwards. He sighed.
- Okay . Oh, and from now on, call me Shirley. I announced.
It was a girl's name I picked without any partycular reason. I just wanted it to be as far from my real name as possible.
