Chapter 11

I woke up that morning feeling perfect. Everything was going great. Seth was on the road to recovery, and Matt was spending the night at the hospital tonight and Joel was here. Enough said.

I changed into a cute swimsuit. It was a zebra print one with pink bows. I slipped into jean shorts and a white shirt, just for a cover up. I walk downstairs and look for Joel, he was on the balcony looking at the sea. I walk out and sit next to him.

"Everything alright?" I ask him.

He pinches the bridge of his nose. "Yeah, just tired"

"Then sleep?" I replied.

"Our one month anniversary is tomorrow too" he says.

"I know, I've been keeping track" I smile.

He kissed me. It was those perfect kisses he gives me.

"What was that for" I ask.

"Just being here" he smiles.

I giggle. "Didn't I invite you?"

He hold my hand and we stroll into the living room together laughing. Aaron, Seth, Trey and Christine were talking.

"Conversation!" I squeal hopping into the chatting circle.

"We're going to the club tonight. Wanna come?" Seth says.

I put my hand on my hip and look at the wall, thinking about it.

"I knew she was gonna chicken out!" Aaron says to Seth.

"No, Let's do it. I just don't think I brought my fake ID" I say thinking.

"That's my little sis" Seth says playing with my hair.

I sigh. "Christine and I are gonna surf. What are you boys planning on doing today?"

"Waterfall jumping" Trey says.

I look at Christine. "Have fun with that" she says sarcastically.

I gave Joel a quick hug and kiss before I left. Then we headed out. The guys were gonna leave shortly after us.

I walked into the lobby and headed toward the back where the beach was. But Kaleo came in.

"Hey" he says turning up the charm. He was definitely gonna start flirting with me again but I wasn't gonna let that happen.

"Hi" I force a smile on my face.

"So, are you still taken or can I take you out tonight?" he winks.

"Kaleo, your super sweet but I came here taken and probably will leave that way. But my friend here, Christine, is free?" I say.

"I want you though" he says.

"I just barely know you, sorry" I start walking toward the beach where Christine was waiting for me.

He grabs my hand and tugs me back, not helping the healing of my wrist.

"Let me go!" I yell.

"Or what?" he says smirking.

"You'll have to deal with me" a voice says next to him. Joel.

Kaleo quickly lets go of me and I grip my wrist. The guys were talking, not noticing what was arising here between me and Joel and Kaleo.

"And what makes you think she doesn't like me?" Kaleo faces Joel.

"Because I'm her boyfriend" He argues back.

"That doesn't prove anything" Kaleo steps forward in front of Joel. I quickly step in between the two and push them farther apart. But they only budge a couple inches.
