I was at Christine's house with her, Aaron and Trey. We were making posters for competition.
"Stop adding so much glitter!" Christine yells at me.
"Gosh." I say as I sprinkle more glitter all over my poster board.
The doorbell ran and everyone rushed to see who was out front.
"It's Kyle?" Christine mouths to us. She opens the door.
"Kyle, If your here to see Talise--"she starts, as the guys and I hide behind the door.
"I didn't come here for her. I came for you" He says.
I gasped. The guys shushed me and I put my hand over my mouth.
"Kyle, I don't like you like that." Christine chokes.
All these years, I thought Kyle was the handsome football player that dated only the girls he loved. He never loved me.
I stepped out in front of Christine and up in Kyle's face.
"Get out!" I yell.
He folds his arms. Not moving at all.
"Bye" I smile and slam the door in his face.
I walk into the kitchen nonchalantly as everyone stares at me with their mouth's wide open.
"Who wants water" I poke my head out of the doorway. Everyone is silent.
I roll my eyes and walk back to them. "Your gonna catch flies"
"Talise, you'd be balling your eyes out now. Are you okay?" Aaron asks.
I look at each of them cautiously. "Yes? You guys are weird"
Christine snaps out of her trance and grabs my arm, dragging me onto her back porch. She sets me down on a chair.
"You realize he just asked me to go out with him?"
I nod. "You realize I don't care?"
Christine laughs uncontrollably.
I cross my arms. "Whats so funny?" I demand.
After minutes of her laughter, she starts breathing and looks at me. "Your so unpredictable"
I was sitting on the couch as Trey was starting a movie. Christine and Aaron went to get pizza.
"Whats it like not remembering anything and waking up to strangers" he asks.
"I'm guessing you don't have one of those filters. You know, the one's that rethink what you about to say before you physically say it" I reply.
"Your right. I don't" He smirks. "Really."
"Well, its like what you said. Waking up and being in a different place, with different people."
"You aren't freaking out though. I would think you'd be having like, panic attacks." he laughs.
"I'm just naturally calmer." I pause for a second. "What was I like?"
Trey pops in the DVD as he talks. "Your hair was wet more than dry. You loved surfing"
He sits next to me and I cross my legs and face him.
"Ow" I screech. I grip my eye in pain.
"What?" He says.
"My eye. There's something in it" I squeal.
He leans foward and looks into my right eye. I never realized how gorgeous his eyes were. A deep shade of green. His slightly redish-brown hair, and the side smile guys do.
"I can't see anything." he puts his hand down, still 3 inches away from my face.
He leans foward and gently presses his lips on mine.
And I regret what I did next.
I didn't pull back. I actually leaned closer. In the back of my head, I knew it was wrong cheating on Joel. But he was so tempting...
Slam! The door opens to Christine and Aaron holding a pizza. Aaron almost dropped the pizza and Christine gasped out loud.
I immediatly pulled back and turned around.
To find Joel standing right next to Aaron.
