It Should've Been Me

Hannah's POV
I visit her grave.
It's lonely, and seems ghostly and mysterious.
Unlike her. Yet so much like her.
It's perfect.
I lay the roses on top, knowing she loves roses, while I despise roses. But for her, I'll try to love them.
"Get up."
I whirl around to see Caleb standing over me.
"Come on." He says and walks away.
I stand up slowly and follow him.
We walk in silence, and the questions in my head are killing me.
"Why did you kill her?" I blurted out.
He barely glances at me. "Classified." He mutters.
"Not classified enough for me." I glare at him.
He stops and faces me. "Then you'll kill me before I tell you." He snarls.
I continue walking, leaving him to catch up.
He runs after me.
"Did you mean to kill me instead?" I ask.
He hesitates then shakes his head.
I feel anger in the out of my stomach. "You we're going to kill her all along! Why? You should've shot me instead!" I yell, and abandon him.
---><----
It should've been me.
Without thinking, I seize a piece of paper and begin writing:

Ways of Suicide
----------------------------------------------
-Cutting Too Deep
-Pills
-Hanging
-Purposely Car Crash
-Starve
-Dehydration
-Bleed To Death
-Drowning
-Shoot With a Gun
-Suffocation
----------------------------------------------
I finish my list and tape it to the wall next to the bed, and cry.
