Setting: January 13, 2008; unknown location, 3rd person POV...

Scorpius is one year old today; he with Jemima and Enid now having the forbidden forest and moved on elsewhere, but by foot-the muggle way-instead of using magic...

"Happy first birthday my little king," Jemima says with a smile on her face as she gently touches noses with him, "I'm sorry that it can only be us three this time," she adds in with a sad gaze to his adorable little smiling face, "maybe next year we can invite-"

Jemima's face grows in further despair as her smile weakens at the memories of her family and friends while little Scorpius smiles and giggles away at her-childhood innocence in his eyes that match her own eye. The boy has her eyes, the same eyes as her father; the boy has his father's hair, and if she could see into the future, she suspected that she'd see almost a identical, carbon copy of Draco. How her heart yearned to be in his arms arms again, she could almost see they're perfect little family living happily ever after together, but she feels discouraged that it would ever happen. Unknown to her, tears slip down her face as her mind is clouded by her dreams and memories; with them on the run from a madman, she fears for the life of her boy. She knew that they all must know about him by now due to the magical family tree wallpapers any blue blood families have, but the only thing that she could be sure of is that Sirius and her aunt knew about Scorpius for sure...

"Mamma," Scorpius coos

"Y-you said your first word," Jemima says with growing joy inside of her, "you are a smart one aren't?-your daddy would be so proud sweetheart."

"So he said what any other baby's first word would be," Enid huffs out, "not a big deal, not like it's anything to write home about-just average."

"Average Huh?" Jemima says in thought, "that gives me an idea for a song-and what's so wrong with average anyways Enid?" She asks in addition, "being extraordinary never bode well for anyone I know...it only ended in war, pain, and suffering."

"So dramatic," Enid sighs out, "is everyone in your family like this?"

"Hahaha!" Jemima laughs in amusement from the familiar sarcasm, "you sound a lot like my friend Periwinkle."

"She sounds like a pansy ass," Enid mutters

"Oh I know a girl named Pansy," Jemima laughs, "and let me tell you-she was a piece of work!"

"..." Enid just gives off a bored expression

Setting: February 14, 2008; Potter manor, Harry's pov...

Just four more months, four more months till our little girl is born and  Ginny and I couldn't be anymore excited for the day to finally come-the boy on the other hand are a bit...disappointed about having to share our attention. I haven't bothered telling them anything about my sister-since there hasn't been any news or sightings of her in a long time and we all assume her to be dead. Aunt Jiba changes topics whenever we visit and bring Jemima up or elude to her; Sirius is apparently not speaking to father again, for some reason or another-how exactly are they still friends. Aunt Jiba and mom just stay out of it; a lot has happened since the war ended and it's hard to believe that Jemima isn't around to see or be apart of it all. It's hard to accept the fact that she's gone sometimes and even harder to move on, I want to believe that she's still alive and out there somewhere-especially since I haven't felt any of her emotions collide with my own and wonder if she's felt any of my emotions...

"What's troubling you sweetheart?" Mother asks as she finds me in the library

"How did you accept and let go of the fact-" I start but stop
