Setting: great hall; the Marauders finally lost those chasing them, stopped running & dragging Periwinkle with them...
"Have we lost the lot?" Peter wheezes between panting from running
"I think so," Sirius replies through his own panting
"Doesn't matter-anyways," James pants, "the girls'll find us anyways-they always do."
"We shouldn't have ran then," Remus heaves between panting
"Can I have my wrists back now?" Peri asks-not panting at all since she was dragged, "or am I gonna have ta bite my own limbs off?"
"..." the four boys look back to the girl, still giving her odds looks as the two holding her wrists finally let go of her
"..." she glares at the lot as she rubs her wrists from his tight they were held
"So where did you come from anyways?" James interrogates, "no one just falls-"
"It's none of your busines," she snaps, "I shouldn't be here anyways," she states, "I need to find a way back-so leave me alone."
"Hold on," James says grabbing her wrist
"OW!" She yelps, "let go of me you blithering baboon!" She hisses as she rips her wrist away from him, "my business isn't yours-so just bugger off and leave me alone four eyes."
"Peri," Remus starts in a calmer voice as he steps in front of her-stopping her from walking any further away
"Get out of my way Moony-" she growls before stopping short upon realizing what she had just said
"..." all fall silent for a moment
"How did you know his nickname?" Sirius asks suspiciously
"You said it," she says quickly
"No," Remus states, "we didn't."
"Who are you really?" James interrogates again, "why did you fall from the ceiling? where did you come from? What do you know?" He questions, holding his wand to her neck, "what do you want?"
"James!" Sirius calls to him
"I do think holding her at wand point is necessary James," Remus cuts him off
"We may need to obliviate her," James states
"JAMES!" Sirius repeats louder, "you and Remus need to see this," he says holding the infamous map out to them
"Are you bloody kidding me?" James snaps at him as he snatched the map, "you know we have to be careful not to get caught by Filch with it-"
"Not to mention this girl could tell on us," Peter adds in
"Sssss!" Peri bares her fangs at the cowardly boy
"Man she really doesn't like you," Sirius laughs at the sight as Peter cowards behind him, "what did you do ta her?"
"Nothing," he whines out, "I couldn't have," he says, "I only just met her, never seen her before in my life-"
"What is it James?" Remus asks as he sees the scowl on his friend's face
"Take a look," James grumbles as he glares at Peri
"You don't have any sisters or cousins with the same last name as you-do you Peter?" Remus asks him
"No," he replies nervously, "nnnot that I've been told about Anyways-why?"
"..." the three other boys eye her in question as she glares them down
