Setting: Where we left Draco & Jemima, still 3rd person...

"Where to start..." Draco says sounding almost angered

"With the truth," she sighs out, "I know I have a habit of keeping secrets-even when I no longer have reason to, and," she continues, "as much as you may not believe me when I tell you this," she goes into explaining, "but I'm going to die-"

"I already know the situation," he cuts her off, "Enid told me and everyone who cares about you," he explains, "only Scorpius doesn't know anything."

"Huh," she huffs out with a sigh, "I could kill her if it didn't show that knows how to show even a little bit of compassion," she says, "I suppose you've been trying to find someone to break the curse..."

"We have," he tells her quietly, "with no luck-"

"It's fine," she cuts him off, "I've accepted that I'm going to die this last time, I'm ready to," she tells him, "I've lived a magical life-can't say it was a good one at first, but it became one...I started off with no friends at all," she says with a dry laugh as tears well up in her eye, "I found I had a brother, a godfather, got to experience love...and the chance raise a damn great kid-don't let your parents ruin him," she adds in with a laugh, "but I need you to trust me-"

"With what?" He scoffs

"I already have a plan set ready to be set in motion once I've died," she tells him, then answers the unasked one in his eyes, "one where we will meet again...hopefully one where things will turn out different-where they turn out better than they are."

"You're not making any sense Lily-dove," he tells her

"It's not important," she tells him

"Lyra died," he tells her solemnly, "dragon pox," he tells her before she can ask him, "apparently, she fell prey to the Malfoy curse-as many females in the Malfoy family did before her," he explains, "the curse was placed upon the house by a member of a coven that no longer exists," he goes on, "and the only one that can break it is a goddess who is cursed herself-"

"Why didn't Nyx fall prey to it?" She asks him

"Because she was born a squib," he tells her, "only a half bred or a squib is able to avoid the curse," he goes on, "any female born into the Malfoy line as a pure blooded witch doesn't live past thirteen," he explains to her, "my father's sister drown, my grandfather's died in childbirth, Nyx's first was still born, ours was drown when you almost did, and now Lyra with dragon pox..." he sighs as he shakes his head, "and now-I'm going to loose you as well."

"Times up," Enid tells them as she barges in, "they finally calmed down the crowd, and Shane's about to start," she adds in, "let's go, you two can finish your talk later."

They both just give her a silent nod and follow her out of the room and downstairs to where the announcer is in the middle of introducing Shane, who ready at the mic. He says nothing to the crowd and just starts playing instrument as Jemima, Draco and Enid return-Draco to the audience and the girls back stage together ready to go on. Jemima can see Sigrid look worried as Snape scowls at the young man singing his life's story for all to hear and she can see the shifting eyes as the lyrics go on...
