*Scorpius Malfoy in his leather jacket from his mum*
Setting: after leaving the secret keepers office; Scorpius continues his original search, 3rd person pov...Scorpius follows what madam Pince told him as he looks for any information on his mum & what he eventually finds is daily prophet articles about his mum & uncle. Moving photographs & writing of fictional gossip as well as factly grossly over exaggerated truths-all written by a Rita Skeeter, a writer whom no longer works for the paper & disappeared from the wizard world a long while ago. The articles told of the Triwizard tournament, lies about his uncle & his mum's dark, ugly past that she or anyone so loathed to divulge. As well as other articles written about them during the war: wanted posters & more; numerous articles about her having issues with her fowl temper. Articles about them playing quidditch, about her & her friends solving strange events at school, & so many different things-things Scorpius could have ever hoped to know, he spends hours reading them looking at the pictures...
He remains in a quiet in shock as he reads the articles looks over the pictures-he never could've imagined his mum look so aggressive, so feral. He collects all that he can & makes duplicates of them before leaving the library & going back to the dormitory where he sprawls everything out onto his bed. He does so, trying to map out his mother's life before him; he feels as though he's clueless to whom she was, meanwhile anything he wanted to know about the potters or Malfoys he could just ask or look up in a book...
"What's all this?"
"Must you always pop up outta nowheres Romulus?" He asks annoyed
"My mum went on and on bout yours while I was growing up," Romulus says looking at one of the papers, "your mum was mine and Lupus's godmum..." he goes on, "mum forgot to tell her that though."
"..." Scorpius's just stares at him like he has three heads
"Anyways!" Romulus declares as he tosses the article as side, "come on, we gotta meet up with Lupus and Rose-"
"No, I'm actually kinda busy-"
"Oh come on!" He says grabbing his hand to pull him away
"I SAID NO!" Scorpius shouts as he rips him arm away, "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHY CAN'T YOU AND YOUR WEIRDO SISTER JUST LEAVE ME ALONE?! I NEVER EVEN SAID I'D BE YOUR FRIEND NOR DO I WANT TO BE!"
"..." Romulus goes quiet now-the hurt evident on his face, "don't have to be a prat about it mate..."
Scorpius continues to glare as the Romulus leaves seeming dejected; once gone, he shoves everything off the bed with great force in his anger & frustration. Fuming, he starts ripping through his school trunk-that once belonged to his father-pulling out clothes & every other thing in its contents. By the time he's done, his bed & the floor around it is covered with books, clothes, a small bag of sweets & some personal, special things from home. He kicks things about aggressively, ransacking his space-but stops short of the black leather jacket his mum got him some time ago & picks it up from the floor. He falls to the floor, siting there depressed as he clutches & fiddles with the leather collar of the jacket, his heart aching due to missing his mum.
"I'm so done," he whispers to himself
He thinks about how he's done everything his mum ever told or asked of him, every time he could recall seeing her smile or that she reprimanded him & then loathing sets in. Something in him snaps as he gets up, slips the jacket on & messes up his perfect hair that of which makes him look like his father. His emotions seem to shut down to the point of no longer giving a shit about anything or anyone, leaving his mess scattered across his space. From this point onwards, whether he knows it or not, he decides to go down the long, dark, historical path of the Malfoy family line that a great deal of Malfoys went down before him. So let's just say that from that point forward, he's a snake in the grass, a tattletale, & due to this, now sits in the headmistress's office waiting for either his father or another parental figure...
