"Whatever this was must have been really important because if people are starting to die and their still not giving up its gotta be something big." Rae says

"Yeah, do you have any clues to what it could be?" I ask

"No not yet... My source is giving me as much info as he can without jeopardizing himself or his family." He says "Its complicated for no reason...... So Later that year Miya was born and i guess because by that time a couple of the other women had gotten pregnant and everyone was starting a family the stakes were higher and everyone pretty much took a hiatus. It was too late though whoever was after them wasn't gonna stop until they got what they wanted. Everyone laid low and they thought it was all over. Then the wife of the first man that was killed was murdered, luckily they had no children but word still got out... No matter where they were they still weren't safe."

"And one by one the rest of the people died?" Rae asks

"Not even. It became couple by couple.... That's why Miya's parents were killed together." He finishes

"So why are they coming after her now?" I ask

"They think she knows something. Or at least knows where whatever secrets there are are hidden... Miya was supposed to die that night too but for some reason he didn't kill her. He sedated her. I just wish i knew why...."

"Do we even know the guy? What he looks like... Anything?" I ask

"Yes." He says staring at Rae "Christian"

"The guy is Christian?!" She yells

"Wait your cousin Christian??"

"No!" G says quickly "Christian would have been to young. The guy Miya saw was a grown man. He would have only been 7 i think."

"So my uncle?" Rae asks

"Maybe." He says

"Problem is.... I never met him. I don't know what he looks like what his name is or any of that so i couldn't help even if i wanted too. My dad and his brothers never got along so he never came around and my dad never talked about him before they were killed. i didn't know i had an 2nd uncle until after they died. When i say he never came around i mean like never a day in my life have i seen him."

"Wait how did you know it looks like Christian in the first place?" I ask

"Miya." He simply states "she looked as if she had seen a ghost and she said "its him" when she met him. She shook his hand and immediately let go as if he hurt her in some way.... I know my sisters body language. Either that or she just really didn't like him"

"Looks like were gonna have to do some digging... Do you know anyone that can do some background checks and find something on your uncle?" I ask Rae

"No..." She says looking down "Do you?"she asks looking at G.

"Yeah. i got it covered" he says pulling out his phone but then he stops and looks up at Rae "if you don't mind me asking... What happened to your parents?"

She took a sharp intake of breath and then looked over out of the window "they were murdered too.." She says solemnly

"Do you remember when?" G asks quietly

"June 17, 1996 " she said quickly "i had just turned 7."

"Shit." G whispered

"What?" I ask

"Miya's parents were killed June 2nd, 1996" he says lowly

"You don't think its connected do you?" She asks
