MIYA POV
The glass shattered onto on of me scraping my face and arms. I take the gun and shoot back hitting the shooter in the passengers seat arm first, then the windshield causing the driver to loose control momentarily but enough time for us to take a sharp right and get away.
"Good aim." Dee says breathing hard
"Thanks." I say picking the rest of the glass off of me.
"Miya we need to leave" G says firmly
"And do what Giovanni? Start over like none of this is happening? Run away from it like we can't handle it?" I say angrily " I refuse to be a lil bitch about this. I want this to be over so when I have kids they don't ever have to deal with it. "
G shakes his head "This is starting to change you..." he says almost sadly
"You're absolutely right. I'm tired of complaining and crying and stressing about all of this. I'm going to handle it. One way or another. Now stop worrying about me... let's go find Alvinique."
"Lil bitch, lil bitch." Dee says turning to stare at me
"You ain't squad lil bitch" I laugh
"Yall stupid" G laughs and we continue to drive
Alvinique POV
"Thanks for all your help." I say getting up "Uh do you happen to have my phone?" I ask not feeling it in my pockets
"Uh no, hold on." He says getting up and going to the back of the house
When he came back he had an gold Iphone 6 in his hand and he handed it to me
"Its yours. No there is no tracking device in it or anything but my number is programmed into it already so we can keep in touch." he says
"Wow....." i say shocked "Thank you."
I dial the number i knew all to well.
"Hello?" her sweet voice says
"Hey Miya its Nique. Whe-?" i start
"OH MY GOD NIQUE WHERE ARE YOU?!" she yells " I went to the park and i found your phone and you werent there and i thought you had got kidnapped and i was so scared... we need to talk . Are you okay? Are you hurt? Did they get you? Just tell us where you are we got a lot to tell you... Hello?" She says rambling
I chuckle "Miya, breath." i say smoothly the way we used to talk to each other when one of us was stressed.
She takes in a deep breath and lets it out slowly " Thanks." she says knowing what i did "im sorry... i was just so afraid." she says quietly "I thought you were dead."
"It hasnt even been a whole 24 hours since we last saw eachother, im fine. I have alot to explain to you too but ill meet you guys at the Tabacco store by the school, we need to get out of the city for a couple hours maybe go to the lake." i say
"Alright, see you in a few." she says sounding a little brighter
"See ya." i smile
"You ready?" the guy who kidnapped me asks now i know him as EJ
"Yeah, lets go." i say following him out the door
Miya POV
When she hung up a small smile spread across my face. My relief evident in my position in the back seat.
"Where are we going?" G asks
"Getting away.... go back to my house." I say
"Are you sure?" Dee asks
