forty-six; jungki, jisung, dongmyeong

"yah, jisung," dongmyeong hollered to the boy who hobbled to the counter, "did you take your antidepressants?"

jisung shook his head, going to scratch at the bandage on his neck, but stopped the last second before he accidentally pulled it off. "no," he yelled back, voice raspy, "they don't fix anything."

dongmyeong huffed, crossing his arms. "hyung, it may seem like they do nothing, but you don't hurt yourself when you are on them."

woojin and eunki watched the exchange between the two boys for a moment, then went back to looking for hallway two and the boy that they both connected with despite no interaction between them.

the pair of boys nearly gave up looking for the room, but found it by quite literally being hit in the face by the door leading to the room.

a handsome doctor walked out of the room, his white coat tight around his obviously fit body. he seemed quite somber, that is, until he saw woojin and eunki, causing him to jump in surprise.

"ah, come on," the doctor yelled, putting his hand over his heart, "all you boys scaring me!"

eunki laughed. "i'm sorry sir, but may we see the patient in the room you just left?"

jackson tilted his head. "zheng ting? yeah, just don't poke him or some dumb crap like that."

dongmyeong smacked jisung's forehead as the elder came to the counter. "dumbo, i don't care if hurting yourself makes you feel real. i care only if you are healthy."

jisung gave a dead stare to the younger. "do you not care for my satisfaction and happiness?" he inquired in a flat tone.

the blond growled under his breath. "you know this isn't making you happy. you want your brother back, but hurting yourself is not going to bring him back."

jisung's eyes suddenly flared with anger. "shut the hell up, gunmin would've wanted me to feel real too."

dongmyeong shook his head in disagreement. "gunmin would've wanted you to move on from his death and live your life."
