after the dance competition, later into the night, eunki received a call from his little brother. he gave jungjung a skeptical look from where the two sat on opposite ends of eunki's couch. jungjung shrugged in reply, letting one of his rare genuine smiles cross his bruised face.

answering the call, he was greeted with haknyeon's happy giggles. "hey hyung, thought i'd tell you i moved to utah~"

"wait, what?" eunki asked for reassurance of the information, knowing that if it was a joke haknyeon would eventually break under pressure.

"i. moved. to. utah. with. my. soulmate." haknyeon repeated back again, loud voices in the background. eunki turned to jungjung and gave him an exaggerated surprised face.

"you moved to an entirely different country after only knowing your soulmate for what, two days?! where did you even get the money to move?"

"shut the fuck up, kevin!" haknyeon yelled in english, most likely directed to one of the excited, loud chatter in the background of haknyeon's side of the call.

"anyways," haknyeon sighed, "seongwoo-hyung has been saving for really song for whenever he met his soulmate to move to a place in the americas. and i moved with him because i trust him."

"mm, okaaay..." eunki grumbled, still not believing how stupid his brother is, "was that all you called for?"

"oh, no, hyung, my new friends wanted to talk to you!" haknyeon cheered, then his voice faded slightly and he once more began to speak in english, "you lame brats come here, you can talk to my hyung!"

"be respectful to your elders," a deep voice chastized, but without a harsh tone. rustling came from haknyeon's side of the call, then the deep voice returned, fluent in korean.

"hello, eunki-ssi~ you're on speaker. essentially we wanted to meet the brother of our friend."

"any brother of haknyeon-hyungie's is our brother too!" a noticeably younger voiced added happily.
