the doorbell rang, startling the twelve boys crowded around a monopoly gameboard. huffing, as he almost won, sangyeon got up to answer the door as he didn't trust any of the younger boys to answer properly.
"i know you guys are going to cheat so i'm not even going to try telling you not to." sangyeon remarked, stretching his arm and walking to the door, opening it with a fake smile on his face.
"h- seongwoo-hyung?"
seongwoo smiled brightly at sangyeon, patting the young boy's shoulder. "heya, sangyeon. i got what i forgot in korea. is it okay if i take haknyeon home?"
sangyeon shook off the shock of the elder boy's sudden appearance, especially since all eleven had doubts if he would come back or not. "uh, of course! he's a bothersome one, please take him off my hands."
seongwoo laughed, nodding his head in agreement. "yes he is. i'm sorry burdening you or the other boys with my sudden leave, it was a complete surprise to myself that i forgot what i did."
"well, i'll go help haknyeon gather his belongings, you may come in if you wish."
seongwoo nodded once again and followed after sangyeon, instantly hearing the many yells of boys playing monopoly once again, accusations of cheater being the main source of noise.
"yah, boys," sangyeon hollered, 11 pairs of eyes turning to look at the two older boys, "shut up and play peacefully. haknyeon, go gather your belongings."
"seongwoo-hyung!" the eleven boys cheered, haknyeon scrambling up to hug his soulmate, a stupidly happy grin across his innocent face.
"hyungie," haknyeon mumbled in seongwoo's shirt, "everyone else doubted if you would come back but i knew you would! my heart told me that you would return."
