taehyun cradled the child in his arms as he waited patiently for sungwoon to finish signing adoption papers, gently easing kenta to sleep with steady movements. smiling, taehyun realized that kenta had extremely distinctive features despite being only a baby, with fairly large eyes.
sighing, taehyun rubbed the sleeping kenta's chubby cheek, cradling the child closer to his chest, his body heat making a smile cross the japanese baby's face. "you're a cutie, kenta~" he whispered, his heart suddenly swelling with emotion for the young boy.
"and would you imagine that you weren't enthusiastic." sungwoon teased, plopping down on the seat next to taehyun, leaning close to also get a good look at the baby. taehyun suppressed his noisy giggles and admired his soulmate's show-stopping visuals, a large smile across his face, sungwoon's eyes filled with care for kenta.
"junhyuk-hyung is going to kill both of us," taehyun joked lightly, "we suddenly adopt a child without notice and probably won't be able to participate in group activities for a while."
"oh crap i forgot about junhyuk-hyung's fury..." sungwoon hissed in a breath, small eyes widening as he pulled away from kenta's peaceful face.
"oh well." taehyun smiled at sungwoon, eyes curling with happiness at the prospect of being a family with the person he loves the most. it was certainly a dream come true.
