Grandma's house was boring. To put it in the nicest of terms. But everything seemed boring compared to touring with my three favorite bands, so I shut my mouth and did my algebra equations.

"Very good dear, now onto history." Kelly spoke, I smiled, at least she gave me cookies and milk while I worked on my homework.

After finishing my work, she put on cartoons for me. The same old Disney shows with the same old people. At least Jessie was always on.

"Grandma, Josh knows that girl!" I pointed to the screen.

"Really? How does he know her?"

"I don't know, she was talking to him at the VMA's."

She dropped the dish she'd been washing. "Tyler took you to the VMA's? What's that?"

"The video music awards. You know, the one with Miley Cyrus and stuff." I probably wasn't helping my case, she gasped.

"I think you're a little too young to be at those, don't you think?" She questioned.

"Beyoncé's kid was there, I dunno." I shrugged.

"Hmm, well Josh is a nice young man. I suppose if he allows you to go also, it must not be so bad."

"It wasn't. In fact, there were kid's there, my age. And they're all related to people in bands, they call themselves band nerds." I smiled at her another message from Jack. My phone buzzed as grandma looked at me curiously.

"That's great. So you are making friends during this while touring thing." She smiled, she'd been skeptical for me to tour because I was so young.

"Yeah, it is."

"Baby, you're back!" Tyler rushed towards me, I'd smiled as he stood at the airport, a dumb little sign with my name on it. But I didn't need the sign, he beat me and everyone else looking for people to it.

And then something different happened. "Tyler Joseph?" It started out with a fan, we had been at the LAX airport.

"That's me." He turned to greet a fan and her mom.

"Can we have a picture?" She smiled.

"Sure thing." Tyler looked at me and grinned, the mom holding her daughter's phone.

"Thank you, so much." She spoke nervously.

And soon, a full on man with a camera the size of my head, came running over. "Tyler Joseph, what's up?" Dad grinned and waved shyly, trying his best to make eye contact with the man.

"Good, how're you?"

"I'm good." And the man rambled and rambled on about useless things. I think I even heard the mention of sex in there, and Dad must've awkwardly laughed and went off topic.

"Oh, this is your daughter, Lily?" He questioned. How did he know who I was, my singing career might as well have tumbleweeds rolling around it.

"Yeah." He pulled me closer to him instinctively, I was more enthusiastic when facing the camera than Dad.

"How's it going, wow, your daughter's a cute one." The guy smiled as I went to thank him.

"Th–"

"Not appropriate. We have to get going, sorry." Tyler gripped my arm, fast walking as I had to jog to keep up.

"Dad, why did you leave so suddenly?"

"Because Lily, they try and get a reaction out of any C-list celebrity. The man was kind at first, but crossed the line when he mentioned your physical appearance."
