"Jenna I've called everywhere! Jack's not answering, nobody is. I just want my girl back." I cursed, already driving past the Hoppus's house.

"Maybe she's just out again. Remember when she confessed to you that she drank?"

I shot her a glare. "No! I know my girl, she promised she wouldn't again. Besides, she told me she never really got drunk."

"Tyler, babe. Don't worry." She told me, hugging me.

"How could you make this out to be nothing? God knows where she is–"

Just then I heard someone try for the knob, it was unlocked, only for her. We always kept it locked.

"Oh my god Lily!" I'd thrown my arms around her, she was quiet as I kissed her head, not mad at her. Just glad she was alive.

"Hi Dad." Her voice sounded soft, raw. She never had a voice like that, unless she'd come back from a concert screaming. I wanted to ask why she didn't text or call me, but thought it best to talk it out calmly. No more fighting.

"I was worried sick. It's fine, you're not in trouble. Just... don't do that again." I let go of her to study her face. She was quiet, too quiet.

I was quiet, what happened? I knew something was wrong, but again, didn't push it. She could snap at me for anything I could ask, so I just kissed her forehead, smiling at her.

"I'm going to take a shower." Was all she said, she walked past Josh's room, into the spare as I looked at Jen.

"Really Tyler?" She crossed her arms.

"You can't force things out of her Jen, come on!"

"The girl shouldn't be let off so easy! Tyler she's running off wherever she wants, doing god knows what–"

"–I can't believe you'd speak of our daughter like that." I spat at her.

"I didn't mean that. I meant you have to be more firm, ground her."

"Fine, you want to be the one to do it? Because I'm always seen as the bad guy."

"Fine, I will. And you'll thank me when we're not running around town looking for her."

"She's not like that. She promised." I felt my heart break. Maybe she wasn't ready for change, it'd take time. I just hoped she wasn't doing any of the things Jenna suggested. It terrified me.

"Well she needs discipline–"

"I don't like how you're belittling our girl–"

"Hey Mom, Dad." She came in with wet hair, black leggings and my black oversized jacket. I stared at her oddly, she didn't wear all black often, and not an outfit like that in the LA heat. She was staying in today?

"Hey." I felt guilty as she heard us arguing about her, she grabbed a cereal bowl and went back to the room. Jenna glared at me.

"She's shutting herself out from us."

I ignored her comment, and stared as she walked off.

With a limp.

I ran after her, scaring her as I pushed the door open, she continued eating silently.

"Do you want to tell me anything that happened last night?" I began, not wanting to set her off.

But I did.

She placed the bowl to the side, crying and sobbing heavily.

"What's wrong. Tell me Lily." I immediately went to her, pulling her into a hug.
