I woke up to the soft snoring of someone behind me. Dad had crawled into my bed in the middle of the night, as I saw Jenna alone and Josh on his own bed.

My body squirmed out of his light grip, I headed for the shower and bathroom. But I couldn't sing quietly without someone banging on the door.

"Are you singing Miss Jackson?" I could practically hear the smile from my Dad on the other side of the door.

"Privacy geez!" I yelled back, continuing to sing and lather myself in soap.

My outfit was set out for the day, a concert day, skirt with long athletic socks, leather jacket over a black shirt, combat boots to set it off.

I wrapped a towel around my shoulders as my hair was still wet. Humming to myself I grabbed a blow dryer, running my hands through my long hair.

My dad came over and placed his chin on my head, his arms wrapped around me.

"Dad, I'm trying to do my hair!" I whined.

"You can't just wear a cute outfit without curling it? Amateurs." He muttered and grabbed an iron, letting it heat up.

"You can do hair? I think I'll ask Jenna."

"It's true." She came in eating a muffin, "He does the best ringlets on my hair." Well shoot if that wasn't the cutest thing.

"Ok. Don't burn my hair off." I applied anti-frizz into my locks.

"I won't princess." He kissed my cheek in reassurance.

I burst into giggles, wanting to face him just to see his happy face.

"Hold still!" He sighed and sectioned my hair. After finishing the curls, I stared at my appearance in the mirror.

"Makeup time! Josh, can you blend my eyeshadow?" I called out to him as Dad shushed me.

"He can't even blend his own, let alone another person's. I'll do it." He grabbed my powder brush and applied blush to it.

I sighed at his lack of knowledge when it came to makeup. "Dad." My mouth opened in a whine.

"Don't dad me!" He shushed, acting as if I was disturbing his art.

"Jenna, he's using our brushes for the wrong makeup. Now we're gonna have to wash them all."

"Ty!" She sighed.

"Don't Ty me." Jenna and I shared a look and burst into laughter.

He finished my face with a 'voila' and a kiss to his fingertips.

I stared back at my reflection, actually liking how I looked. My now rounder face was framed by my curls, and dad applied thin eyeliner and blended it, making it not look like a thirteen-year-old applied it.

"Oh thank you so much." I smiled, wow who was the old Lily, shy and unconfident, look at me now.

As soon as I entered the venue, Brendon and Sarah had taken notice of me.

"Oh you look so precious!" Sarah squealed and tugged at her fiancés arm.

"Like, so totally gorgeous!" He mocked in his high-pitched girlie voice, he did it often.

And Spencer gave me a wave, Dallon not taking notice in my practically New York fashion week outfit.
