The Summer Before Senior Year

"Never have I ever fingered a girl."

Chase spat his drink out and Malcolm's eyes were bulging out of his sockets.

"Sethykins, you're lying." Malcolm decided before looking me straight in the eye. "Never? I mean, dude I'm gay and I've fingered a girl."

I rolled my eyes at my cousins.

"Speaking of being gay, have you told your parents yet?" I tried changing the subject.

We were playing Never Have I Ever with lemonade because our parents would have a fit if either of us had alcohol. I mean Chase was 20 and his mother would probably kill him if she saw him with a drop of anything alcoholic. Plus, the younger members of the family were more than those of us who were older so we couldn't even drink if we wanted to.

"Nope. Most of my friends still don't know." he replied confidently.

I could see the worry on Chase's face because he just wanted the best for his brother and didn't want people bullying him or anything of the sort. It was one of the reasons I loved Chase, Malcolm and their sister, Vanessa.

"Sethykins, you're changing the subject." Chase pointed out.

Well, I tried.

"It's not that I find it weird or anything, I just - I don't know how to." I shrugged, feeling embarrassed in the presence of my cousins.

"You're something else Sethykins." Malcolm shook his head at me. "So how's Chase's baby, Riley?"

"She's not Chase's anything because she's my girlfriend."

Chase choked on his drink this time around and Malcolm literally froze. Vanessa chose that moment to waltz in on us.

"What's up with them?" she asked pointing to her brothers.

"No idea." I shrugged. "I just told them that Riley's my girlfriend now and - "

"WHAT?!"

"Ugh what is wrong with you other Winters?" I groaned.

"Okay, you have to tell us everything. Like do not skip any details on how all of this happened. Start." she ordered as she got comfortable in my blanket.

I went on and told all of them how Riley and I got together doing my best not to miss any of the "juicy" details. Vanessa was 'aww'ing every second she got which was irritating and I didn't fail to hear Chase snickering as well which earned him a couple of jabs to his side everytime.

When I was done I did my best to steer us off the topic but Vanessa kept asking weird questions like how our kisses were till I put an end to it. It was mainly because I needed some advice from Chase but I couldn't ask while Malcolm and Vanessa were still here. 

"Ugh I can't believe I got sidetracked again. I actually came here to ask Malcolm if he could teach Talia how to give blow jobs."

"What the fuck?" Chase spat while I burst into so much laughter that I started tearing up.

"First Seth can't fuck with his fingers, now your crazy friend is asking for help sucking dick. This just keeps getting weirder and weirder." Chase shook his head.

"God you're worse than the gossip mill at my school." I groaned with my hands covering my face.

I honestly couldn't ask for a better family because I know that there's nowhere else I'd get this sort of entertainment.

"Ugh come on Malcolm. You know you're the only one who can really explain this to her." she begged.

"How are you even talking to her right now?" Malcolm asked.
