Chapter 2~Trust?

Kai's POV

I was sleeping peacefully until i heard Nya "Guys! He's waking up!"
We put on our ninja gi's on and raced to the cell.

We all stared at the man, but it felt like he's staring at me..

"Are you gonna say something or are you just standing there?" The guy said.
"Well you go first, who are you?" Lloyd asked.
"I'm ehh.. John! Yupp i'm John" the guy said quickly.

I looked at him with disbelieve.
"Yeah right.. " i roll my eyes at him.
"Kai! Don't be so mean!" Nya snapped "Ignore him  , he's a little bit.. hot headed."

"I understand, it's only sad to see a elemental master without his powers which fixed him so well..." John said while looking innocent.
I felt rage build inside myself.
"Oh yeah?! You can't even control this power!" I said while walking closer to his cell.

"Well.. you guys can teach me.. if you let me go.
I promise to stay.. i mean you're the ninja, you guys can do anything.. right?"

"Yeah sur-" Lloyd said but i cut him off.

"No, do you guys actually believe him?! What if he runs away?! What if he can't be trust?!"

"Well... Kai.. we're on a flying temple you know.. there's not much he can do.." Cole said.
"Yeah.. we can better do something instead of nothing" Jay said while standing next to Cole.
"No! I'm not going to let that-" I said but sensei cut me off.

"What is happening here?!" Sensei said.
"Well.. Kai lost his power and now his power is into.. John, and now we don't actually know what to do.." Zane said.
"Free him.. i'm gonna train him so that he can control his power until we fix out how Kai can get his powers back."
"But sensei-" i wined.
"No buts!" And with that he walked towards the door "Your training will start tomorrow" Sensei looked at John.

"Okay..." John said awkwardly.
"Well , Heyy John i'm Nya" Nya said "and this is Cole,Zane,Jay,Lloyd and Kai." She motioned to each of us

"It's cool with me" John said looking at me , i don't know but he glared every time at me..
"Well we'll free you" Cole said while open up the cage.

"Thanks" John muttered.
"I'll let you show the bounty" Lloyd said , They walk towards the door and then they were out of my sight.
"Unbelievable" i muttered under my breath.
"What did you say?" Nya asked me.
"N-nothing sis" I said quickly.

Then i heard the doorbell. "I'll open it!" I yelled hoping it was Skylor.
When i arrived at the door Skylor was already in... with John.

"Hello m'lady" John said smooth while kissing her hand.
Skylor giggled "Hello, who are you?"
"I'm John.. but you can call me.. Handsome.."

He leaned closer in to Skylor , but Skylor look uncomfortable in the situation.
I pushed John away from her and began to stand beside her.
"Well.. i see you guys already know each other. Well John this is Skylor... my Girlfriend.

While i said the word 'Girlfriend' i glared at him.. hard with a fake smile.

"Ohh well... then i'll go, see ya later Skylor" he smiled
"Later" Skylor smiled back.

"Who is that guy?" She asked me.
"Honestly i'll call him trash or something like that"
"Kai, don't be so mean to him"
"I'm not mean to him..."
"Yes you are"

"What happened?" She asked me while putting her arms around my neck.
Who couldn't ignore her beautiful face.
"Well...

After story (You're lazy!) (No i'm Not!)

"I'm sorry to hear that Kai.."
"Nah it's okay" i smiled
She smiled back as she kissed my cheek.

"Hey Sky!" Nya smiled
"Hi Nya" Skylor smiled back
"C'mon it's dinner time, you can eat with us Skylor, if you want."
"Yeah cool! Thanks Nya"
"No problem" she smiled.

Later we were all eating on the table with.... John.
"Woa! This is delicious Zane!" He almost yelled with a mouth full.
"Thank you John, i really appreciate it"

Cole make some food.. (idk if i could call it food) .... to
Cole said it was chilly , but we all know that it isn't true.
Then a funny idea came up in my head.

"Hey John?"
"Yeah" he said while glaring daggers at me without anyone noticing.
What have that guy against me?
"Will you try Cole's delicious Chilly?"
The others looked at me with wide eyes , they shook their head as in response but i didn't pay attention to that.
"Ummm.. sure!"
He took some on his plate and eat it.
"Here it comes" i whispered through my breath.
"Mmmmm this is delicious Cole!" John said eating more.. food.

We all looked at him open mouth.
"How can you still sit here instead of the bathroom?" I asked.
"What do you mean?" John asked.
"Ohh euhhh.. nothing" i said quickly.

After dinner Nya said that Skylor could be here for a week. "Yesss" i whispered.

Jay and Cole were playing some video games , Nya and Skylor were doing.. Girl things and Zane is doing the dishes , but where's John?

"I have to go, i'll be back later" I walked out the room and decided to look for him.

I heard some grunting come from a room.. the trainings room?
I walked over the door and looked through the keyhole.
I saw John beating up a trainings dummy like there was no tomorrow.
It was clearly to see he had some training in the past... a lot.
"No way.." i whispered.

He looked at the door and walked towards my way.
I quickly hide me behind a wall where he couldn't see me.

He had a trainings sword in his hands... why?
I held my breath in , hoping he wouldn't find me.
He looked at his right and left, then he shrugged and walked back to where he came from.

I sighed in relief as i walked towards my bedroom.
I think he's hiding something from us... i don't trust that.. John..
