"Did you hear what happened to Mr. Connelly?" Jared asked me as we were waiting for Coach to enter our meeting room. They called a meeting with the Coaches that were still in the competition and told them what was gonna happen. Coach was suppose to relay the message down to the rest of us.

"Did I hear what happened to him?" I asked,

"I'm the reason he's behind bars."

"Stop!" Jeremy exclaimed, joining the conversation.

"Tell us everything that went down." Brandon said, joining the conversation as well.

"Yeah, Aidan. I would love to hear all about how you are the reason Mr. Connelly is behind bars." I heard another voice behind me. I turned around and Coach was standing in the doorway of the meeting room.

"Coach, I can give you the details later." I said.

"Yeah, y'all can have your BFF talk later." Avery jumped in,

"We would like to know what they told you."

"Right! the shareholders of this event came to the verdict," He began, giving me a look,

"That the very competition that was held as a front for drug trafficking has no right of continuing."

There were groans all around the room as we were all disappointed. Everything that we had worked for since the beginning of the season was gone. We had made it to the finals, a team who's first year it was in the competition. We were everything that went right in those underdog movies. But I guess this is a reminder that this isn't a movie. You don't win in the end.

"So we just go home?" Avery asked.

"Yeah, the expect us to be gone by the end of the week." Coach said.

"I guess I'll start booking flights for us." I said, getting up.

"Yeah you do that Bill Gates." Avery replied.

"Not now dude." I threatened,

"Not now."

I walked out of the room and made my way to the elevator. I got on and clicked on my floor. Just when the door was closing, a hand appeared and stopped it. I sighed as Coach walked into the elevator. It closed again and we started moving.

"Would you like to explain what you meant by 'I'm the reason he's behind bars.'?" He asked.

"Did you honestly think that I was in it so that I could make more money?" I asked,

"Go into a life of crime with a Leprechaun?"

"Yes! That's exactly what I thought." He said,

"Does that honestly surprise you though? You're a Hybitch or whatever you call yourself. You're basically always killing people. What did you expect me to think?"

"That I'm not someone who would purposely go into something like that." I retaliated,

"All the people I've killed, all the crimes I've committed, I've had no choice but to do."

"Is that really what you honestly believe?" He asked,

"You have ruined countless of families just this year because the 'Council' is coming after you. You know how many people would be happy, with everyone they love, if you could just realize that you broke the law of your kind and you had to pay the price for that?"

I stared at him in disbelief. That had never occurred to me. The fact that all the people that I have killed this year had families to go back to. People they loved, people that loved them.
