Chapter 21

I went to the bar that Amber and I usually hunt at, there were the normal cars that are always there. Easy bait here. I walked in, like usual but this time I asked for a drink he told me to show him my ID but I just looked into his eyes and told him I was 21. He gave me a drink then someone came over to me "Wow you look kinda young to be drinking that." the man said, why don't I take you to your house. Wow this guy is creepy oh well easy to get. "You're right I am young and I should get home." I smiled and twirled my hair. We got out to the parking lot and he ask "So little girl where do you want me to take you." Yep very creepy! I felt his hand on my back, before I could shrug it off he slammed me against his truck. "Ow! Wha-" before I could say anything he spins me around and covers my mouth. "Shut up! You'll make me look suspicious!" He angrily whispers at me trying to shove me in his truck, I guess because I'm so hungry that I can't fight back, I couldn't do anything. I hear a screech in the background, then all of a sudden I'm not being forced anymore. I look up to find Silas slamming him on the ground. "DON'T TOUCH HER, YOU DIRTY RAT!" he screams punching in the face over and over. My tears start to flow, "Silas," I scream "SILAS!" He finally looks up at me jumping up, he grabs my head and looks me up and down. "Are you alright!?" He says frantically staring I'm to my eyes. I start crying even more and I lose feeling in my legs. Silas catches me, and walks into one of the alleys with me in his arms. He stands me against a wall and bends his head back a little. "I know you're hungry hurry up and eat you'll feel so much better." he says grabbing my hand placing it on his neck. I take my hand back and shake my head. "Please Emi! I know you're starving!" He says looking me in my eyes. I shake my head even more "I don't want to, you might leave again if I do!" I try to choke out holding back the tears. He grabs my head and kisses me, a passionate kiss. He puts his forehead to mine, "man, do you know how hard it is watching you, knowing I can't touch you." He says. "Emi just drink my blood for know and I'll talk to you about everything in a minute." He says holding my face in the film of his hand. I nod and kiss his neck then click I slowlsuck his blood, I missed this taste, I missed these moments. Tears rolling down my face I release him and go to wipe my mouth, he stops me and kisses me again. "I'm not going anywhere." He says in a soothing tone, wiping the tears from my eyes. "I'm here." He says putting my hand on his heart beat. I held him close to me I could hear the screeching of that man's truck pull away. I didn't care what just happened all I care about that he's here silas is here holding me. Silas stands up and pulled me up with him "Come on my love, let's go home." we both turned into birds then flew to my house.
   Once we were inside my mom was sitting on the couch talking to a friend from work they were both sipping coffee but talking, my mom looked at Silas and I then smiled "Glad you're home." she said then went back talking to her friend. When we got up to my room he let out a sigh "You don't know how hard it was to always see you but never hold you in my arms." he said. "Wait see me... you never left?" I asked "I couldn't." he looked down "I could never leave you." he grabbed my hand. "Your 17 birthday is coming up," he paused "Would you like to go to the creature world a year early?" is he really asking me this he's asking me to pretty much everything I have ever known I have been planning in two years to leave but that in a few weeks. He interrupted my thoughts. "You don't have to decide now if you don't want to you can decide on your birthday." I nodded, i'm not hungry anymore. This is a huge decision to make i would leave my only friends behind Amber she's the only one that really understands the hunger I have. And keith oh poor keith if I told him I was leaving and not sure if I would come back in his lifetime telling him that I would be staying there with silas would kill him. I looked up at silas with sad eyes he was staring at me in anguish. "You don't have to decide now." he repeats "Come on let's go have some fun."
