"Let me explain this to you without you freaking out ok." I say trying to think of how I'm going to explain this without sounding completely insane. "Ok you have to understand that you aren't the same person you used to be...." I say when i look at their faces they look at me like I'm the most idiotic person in the world, and in this moment i would probably feel the same. "So you've all heard of vampires right?" I say.
"W...WAI...Wait! Are you telling me you 'turned me into a vampire?'" She moves closer looking at me dumbfounded and then laughs. "You have to be kidding me!" she laughs some more. I just keep staring at her with a straight face, when she realizes I'm not laughing her jaw drops and she covers her ears then shakes her head. When we make eye contact she raises her hand like she's going to hit me, I close my eye's and prepare myself for a beat down. "ARE you serious!!" she squeals. "This is insane! I've always dreamed of this moment, but who knew it would actually happen!" she says grabbing my shoulders shaking me. My eyes shoot open and I look at her, at that moment I was the most confused that I have ever been in my life. When I look at Keith he looks at me with this horrified look, he gets up and runs out of the place without looking back. I tried to run after him but I couldn't leave amber by herself with powers she had no idea how to control. Sighing I take her hand and tell her to follow me so i can explain to her how all this works.
I run in my house grab my backpack through some clothes in it and run out the door. "Mom I'm staying at a friends house I shout before shutting the door running outside to meet Amber standing there holding up my bike. "Hey wasn't yours eye's red?" she asks. "Or do you wear contacts?"
"What do you mean? I don't wear contacts red is my natural eye color" I say looking at her confused.
"When right know they are a..." she gets closer to see "An emerald green. I think?" she says. "Wow cool does that mean my eyes change color to?" she says excitedly.
"What! My eyes are green!" I shout. My jaw drops "No way!" i shout. "How is this possible?!" I think for a minute. "I guess i'm green eyed know?" And laugh. Amber looks at me laughs a little and i can see her uncomfortable expression and stop. "Welp I guess it's time for me to explain everything you need to know, that i know at least, and then we're off.
