My 17 birthday

"....Happy birthday dear Emily happy birthday to you." my Mother, keith, Silas and Amber were singing to me. My mom didn't bother to get a cake because ⅗ people here can't even eat it. So they were singing to me while I was opening presents. They all looked so happy Silas and Keith haven't argued the whole time and my mom and Amber has been talking up a storm. Everyone is laughing we are having such a great time. After i was done opening presents. Amber wanted to race silas to see if a vampire or a tagu was faster. I would beat both of them because I am both, so I left it up to them to prove it. My mom said she was going to go up stairs for a while that left keith and I alone. "How does it feel to finally be 17." keith asked I smiled "I feel so old now, I know what it's like to be you." i joked "Oh really." he gave me his perfect smile he is so human but that smile can get any creature to follow. "You don't know the first thing about being grown up!" i laughed "yes i do i know that i have to make huge decisions now..." that reminds me I have to choose to stay or to go to the other world. He saw the discouraged look on my face. "What's wrong did I say something?" he asked should i tell him what's really wrong, i could make something up. "I..." Amber and silas burst into the house laughing "i told you i was faster!" amber said "By only a tiny amount!" he replied. Silas looked at me then looked at keith he turned his head me again "Is everything ok?" Silas asked
I replied "Yes, everything is fine i'm just really tired."
"Its getting late I should get home anyways." keith said. Amber hugged me goodnight then ran off into the darkness. I reached over to give keith a quick hug before he left but held me tight he didn't want to ever let go I could tell that he still was in love with me. I never want to hurt him. He finally pulled away "goodnight em." i have to tell him "wait keith..." what could i say, think quickly. "See you tomorrow right?" he nodded then left i turned around and silas was leaning against the stairwell "what was that all about?" i replied "We are going to the creacher world in one week."
