It's the day.

I wake up, dreading what's going to happen to me. I take out my diary, which will probably be the last diary entry of my life. I sigh and open it to the next page.

Dear Diary,

Today's the day my life is at risk. We still have 45 minutes to prepare to go into The Cartoon Games arena, and this is most likely to be my last diary entry.

If this is, I want it to be proven that Dipper, Wendy, Soos, Grunkle Stan, Mordecai, Margaret, Candy, Grenda, and of course my parents that I love them. To death. I want to hug them one last time. If it was the last hug I had to give them. Tears are strolling down my face thinking about what's going to happen to me.

Hallie is calling us for breakfast, and well, just remember,

This is a big chance that this'll be my last entry. Ever.

Robbie and I meet Hallie at the table, not saying a word.

"Robbie?" I say, breaking the silence. He looks at me.

"Break a leg."

He smiles. "You too."

We eat our eggs and drink our orange juice before we're lead to the tube that leads us to the arena. Hallie and Arisa are by my tube.

"You were great yesterday. Good luck." Arisa kisses me on the cheek.

"Yeah, good luck. Win for Disney," Hallie says.

"What about the other cartoons on Disney?" I ask.

Hallie looks me good in the eye.

"Your show is the only one people care about." I smile and hug Hallie. The last hug I'll give someone.

"Now get in that tube and win for us."

I step in the tube and it lifts me up into the arena. I give a few waves to Arisa and Hallie before I go.

"Thanks for everything," I say.

Arisa and Hallie are tearing up as they wave to me.

"Win for us" is the last thing I hear before we count down for 60 seconds.

The clock is at 40.

I look around. I see all 24 of us, looking upset. I see Margaret 5 people to my right and Robbie 7 people to my left.

32 seconds.

My hands feel clammy. We have a meeting place which is the forest.

23 seconds before our life ends.

I see knives tied with a rubber band, and then in back of it was the backpack. Grab both of those, I think. If I get the backpack and not the knives I'm still ok.

12 seconds.

Now that I know my plan, I count along.

Here we go.

1.

The bell rings and I run to the backpack. I grab the knifes just as Wander goes to grab them. I put the knives in my backpack and head for the forest. I see someone coming so I'm ready to get my knives out but it's just Mordecai.

"Where's Margaret?" I nervously ask.

He smiles and points as she meets up with us.

"Come on, let's go."

We run farther from the cornucopia, now with more confidence. We reach a tree that was super far from the cornucopia and decide to make that our meeting place. I take off my backpack and take my knives out. I carve out 'Run soon or you're dead' in the tree so we remember it's ours.

"Any of you get a backpack?" I ask.

Margaret puts her on the ground. We open our packs as Mordecai sits down. He has a spear, 2 bread loaves, 3 water bottles and an apple.

Margaret pulls out what she has.

5 sticks (good for fires), a coil, a sleeping bag, a water bottle, 5 cheeses, a medical kit, 3 bread loaves, a bow and arrow and an energy drink.

I pull out mine.

2 sleeping bags, a flashlight, a lantern, 2 water bottles, a bread loaf and a jacket. Not even a jacket. A SWEATER. As if it was meant for me.

"The other sleeping bag is for you," I say handing it to Mordecai. He smiles. "Thanks."

"If we want to start a fire we need a rock," Margaret says. I see something by a nearby bush. It was a pebble. Not a rock.

"That won't work."

I continue searching when I see the perfect sized rock. I hand it to Margaret.

"Don't waste it now," Mordecai says.

"Don't eat your food yet, we have to save it," Margaret says.

"We have a lot of bread," I say.

"Yeah, we're good for that."

Then we hear a cannon. 6, actually. The bloodbath must be over.

We hear something that makes our hearts stop. It was a rustle by the bush where I found the pebble.
