I wake up, surprised I'm not dead yet.
There, sitting in front of me, was Mordecai and Robbie, bloodied up.
"Hey," I say, rising my head off of the grass. "How long did I sleep for? And how am I not dead yet?" I ask. I expect Mordecai to say for a few hours.
"Only about 45 minutes. And do you see this blood? We took care of Finn. He's gone now. It's just us," Mordecai says.
"You did it without me?" I ask.
"Mabel, no offense but you don't have a bad bone in your body," Robbie says.
"No? Really? Well FYI, I killed 3 careers, a rabbit, and..." I didn't kill anyone else.
"3's nothing. Sylvia? She killed the six people in the first day. Someone killed Wander and she got mad. Madder then the mad hatter. She got revenge on people even though they didn't kill him." I nod.
"Did Finn get taken already?" I ask.
"Yeah. Who knew that he had so much blood in him?" Mordecai says.
"So wait...it's just us three now. What are we gonna do?" I ask. We stare blankly at each other and I feel tears welling up in my eyes. I can't kill any of them. Let them kill me.
An announcement goes over the loudspeaker. "Hello, remaining three. The rules have been revoked. If you are with your tribute, you can still win, so there is a victor of two now."
Robbie and I look at Mordecai. He sighs. "I'm alone. Kill me."
"NO!" I yell. "NO! I'M NOT KILLING YOU!" I'm angry now.
"Yeah! You're our ally! I can't do this to you!" Robbie tells him.
"Is this what you really want?" I yell at the sky. "You want us to kill each other just for entertainment? And make kids and adults realize there's something wrong with the character? J.G. Quintel is already upset Margaret died! We aren't having his character he's voiced by do this!"
"YEAH!" The boys yell in unison.
I hear another announcement. "If you won't kill each other, then you leave us no choice," the voice says. I hear a crackling noise and a tree that's on fire falls to the ground. "Good luck tributes! And may the odds be ever in your favor."
