We get lifted out of the arena on a helicopter which will take us to the trains. Mordecai will be riding on our train. It takes about an hour to get to the trains.
"Halley!" I say, giving her the largest hug ever.
"Mabel! Oh my god!" She says, hugging me back. "You did so amazing. And we have a surprise!" She says.
There, comes out Alex Hirsch, drawn in cartoon form. "Mabel!" He says, hugging me. "Ariel will be so proud to see you." I almost forgot that I was based off of Ariel Hirsch. Alex was right. Ariel came out in cartoon form. She came over and hugged me, her red hair tickling my face. "You did so well!" She exclaims. "We gotta go talk to Robbie, ok?" I nod. "Sure."
When we get to the trains I go to my room. It smells like lavender. I flop on my bed and pull out the laptop that's on my desk. I need to video chat my family.
They answer right away. There, on Grunkle Stan's floor is Dipper, Wendy, Stan and Soos.
"Mabel!" They all yell. A tear falls down my great uncle's face. "You won kiddo. You did. You were so powerful, you killed the tributes with ease!" Stan says.
"Dude. That. Was. AWESOME!" Soos says.
"Way to go, Mabel! I can't wait until you get home so I can hug you until you die!" Wendy says. I laugh. "I almost did die in those 2 weeks. Give me a break," I sarcastically say, and then smile.
"Mabel. You were great out there. I...I'm just shocked! I can't believe you actually won! Like what Wendy said, I can't wait to hug you and squeeze you until you die!" He gives me a smile and then I see him crying. He's happy, very. "Go call mom and dad."
"Ok. I'll...I'll see you soon. Love you."
A message appears on my screen. "StanPinesDoesntKnowHowThisTechnologyWorks has signed off."
Then I look for my parents. "Evangeline Pines...Evangeline Pines..." I say, scrolling through the Skype list. Ah. I find her.
I click my mothers name and her face pops up.
"MOM!" I say, hugging my computer screen.
"Hello darling. Why are you covered in blood? And why aren't you using your great uncles name?"
My mother didn't know I was in the games. Should I tell her? Yes. She is my mother and she must know I was in a game of life and death.
"Mom, I'm not at the Mystery Shack right now. I'm in The Cartoon Games train."
My mother drops her water she's drinking.
"WHAT? THAT HAPPENED? YOU WERE IM THE GAMES? WHY DIDN'T STAN TELL ME?" She yells. "Wait, you're going or coming back?" She asks.
"Mom. My face is all bloody. What do you think?" I ask.
"And you...survived?" She asks. I nod, grinning.
"Oh my god! You won! You actually won!" A light goes on saying my battery's low.
"Mom. Can't talk. Low battery. Love ya! Bye!" I say, shutting off the computer.
"Mabel, Robbie, your stop, Gravity Falls, Oregon," Halley says.
I hug her. "Goodbye Halley." She hugs me back. "Goodbye Mabel. And remember, in the next Quarter Quell, you will be a mentor." I nod. "Bye!" I say, stepping off the train. Robbie and I are on Main Street, and everyone yells happily. A camera flashes in our face. Sandra Jiminez comes by us.
"Breaking news! Our two tributes from our town, Mabel P. and Robbie V. have won the 74th annual Cartoon Games. Tell us, how do you feel?"
"I feel crazy. I feel psychotic. The games had made me feel like a lunatic. Sure, I'll bully a person now and then but isn't it crazy how I had to kill just to protect myself from harmless people?" Robbie says. Sandra nods. "And you, Mabel?"
"Who knew I'd have to kill a few careers and a rabbit?" I ask. The townsfolk laugh. "Ok, go see your family. As we run off, Sandra says, "And here's our weather!"
I run all the way to the Mystery Shack. My calves are killing me. I've been running for the past two weeks. Take that, weight!
"MABEL!" The Mystery Shack crew yells, surrounding me in a hug.
"Guys! I missed you so much!" I say.
"The shack has been closed for the past two weeks and we barely had any sleep thanks to you," Stan sarcastically says, laughing. "That's a lot of money I was losing."
"Money? I'll be smothered in riches soon!" I tell my family. "I'll be upstairs. I gotta rest.
When I get upstairs, I take Grunkle Stan's laptop out of his room. I log onto Skype.
"MordecaiLeBluejay..." I search. The only one that popped up was him. I click him and he comes on.
"Hey! Your at the house?" I ask.
"Yep! Meet the people I live with! This is Rigby, my best bud," he says, showing me a raccoon. "This is Benson," he says, showing an angry gumball machine. "This is pops, he says, showing a lollipop with a big head. "This is Skips," he says, showing a yeti. "These two freaks are Muscle Man and Fives," he says, showing me a zombie-looking guy and next to him, a ghost with an hand on his head. "And finally, this is out newest member, Thomas," he says, showing a goat.
"So...about Margaret..." I say, looking down. "I'm sorry."
"It's ok. I found someone new. CJ."
A cloud-looking girl comes into the house. "Hi! Mabel, right?" She says. Her voice oddly sounds like Wendy.
"Yep! I allied with your boyfriend during this game of death."
"Thank you Mabel. You cared a lot about him in the games. You kept him safe. Thank you so much."
I hear my voice being called for dinner downstairs.
"Alrighty guys, I gotta go. I promise I'll talk to you soon."
"Of course you will. Tomorrow we gotta talk publicly," Mordecai says.
"Really? Agh. Alright, see you tomorrow." I shut off the computer and go downstairs.
