After these two long weeks I never wanted to have anything to do with the Capitol ever again. But no, I need to tell how those fourteen days ruined my life and how great it was to survive.
Grunkle Stan drives all of us to the train station where I will be meeting up with Robbie and Mordecai on the train.
After two long hours of being on the train we got to where we did interviews. The three of us were supposed to go out together.
I didn't think I was supposed to be fancied up but I was the one that didn't look nice. Robbie took care of his acne and tidied up his hair and wore his suit. Mordecai's hair was back and he wore a little bow tie. I wore my usual, a goofy sweater with a skirt, but I wore sneakers instead of my black flats. Forget about what I wore. Interview is more important.
"So tell us Mabel," Ice King says. "Did you feel like a mother nurturing these boys when they were hurt?"
"Actually, yes. Especially when Robbie's back was bloodied up and Mordecai was beaten down that it looked like he almost died. And yet they didn't want me to go to the feast." The crowd laughs.
"And Mordecai, Robbie," he says. "How did you feel that you had someone to take care of you while you were hurt?"
"I felt like I was with my parents again. I was safe, even though three kids wanted to kill me," Mordecai says. The crowd laughs again.
"She saved my life. And I promise I won't be rude to the Pines ever again for Mabel saving me like that," Robbie says. I hear Dipper let out a sigh of relief.
"And," Robbie continues, "I don't care if Dipper does like Wendy. I knew he does, but like I would care. If Mabel hadn't saved me I would've challenged that kid to a fight."
"Let's bring Wendy Corduroy and Dipper Pines to the stage, shall we?" Ice King says. The crowd (and Mordecai, Robbie and I) roar with applause as Wendy, in a sparkling green dress and Dipper, in a sharp black suit comes up to the stage.
"Robbie," Wendy says. "Dipper and I both thank you. I think we can all agree I can hang out with this guy all summer." Robbie smiles.
"And now Dipper, as I present to you, one of the greatest moments of both yours and my life," Wendy says, kneeling down to my brothers height. She kisses him smack on the lips. My twin brother didn't expect it, even though Wendy just said it. His eyes nearly bugged out of his head, and his whole face was pink. The crowd roared yet again.
"So we have a ship! What should we call them?" Ice King asks.
"WENDIP!" I blurt out. It's perfect!
"Great idea, Mabel! Wendip!" Ice King says.
"Now everyone, I would like you to meet District 12, Gravity Falls's couple, Wendy and Dipper, and the THREE winners of the Seventy Fourth annual Cartoon Games, Mabel, Robbie, and Mordecai!" Ice King tells everyone. The three of us grab hands and stick them in the air as the crowd roars once again. I dread the moment I have to let go of their hands because I was in the middle. But these two are going to be my lifelong friends. And I'm happy for my brother and Wendy too. A lot.
Sure, the Cartoon Games are over for this year, but now I realize that the Games just began.
