You're What?
"Your girlfriend's here," alerted Hoseok who was sitting beside his giddy little brother, Jimin.
The younger squealed like a pig and shot up from his seat, then excitedly stood by the window to watch as his new beautiful girlfriend exited her mom's car and walked towards their front porch. Hoseok judged his brother as he played his video game.
Jimin had just started dating the prettiest, most hard-to-get girl in Bangtan High. All the guys had tried to get the mysterious girl's attention, but she payed them no attention. However, with Jimin, she gave him a chance and even kissed his cheek on the first day they agreed on dating. I'm always #Blessed, Jimin thought.
Before the girl could even knock or ring the doorbell, Jimin had already opened the door widely with a grin on his face. "Yoonji! I'm so happy to see you," said Jimin.
Yoonji didn't giggle or blush darkly the way other girls would, but she shyly looked down at her toes and watched as she wiggled them inside her shoes. That was what Jimin liked about her.
Jimin didn't notice he had been staring at Yoonji's amazing, short, silky soft hair, but he finally came to his senses and gently pulled his girlfriend inside the house.
Yoonji first took off her shoes, then she examined Jimin's house and looked at everything with wonder. One thing she mainly focused on was Jimin's older brother, Hoseok, who aggressively pressed buttons on his controller. She also looked at some family pictures on the wall. "Your house is nice and lovely," she commented.
Jimin bit his plumo bottom lip and smiled as his cheeks turned pink. "Just like you."
Hoseok groaned. His eyes were still trained on the bright television screen. "Stop flirting and go upstairs to make kids, or something."
Jimin walked up to his brother and hit his head with his palm, then went back to smiling at his girlfriend. "Shall we?" Yoonji nodded and Jimin took her hand in his and led her upstairs.
-
"Homely room," said Yoonji. She appreciated how Jimin's room was just a plain white with decorative objects around it. The color and designs mixed in well. "I like your wooden desk. Where did you buy it?"
"Oh, well, my uncle came to Korea from America and he brought that here for me. He said it was from a giant furniture store called Ikea?"
Yoonji nodded and kept looking around. There were several polaroid pictures of Jimin and his friends that hung on string off of the ceiling. There were also some of his family and aesthetic photographs. Two little pots with mini cacti in them sat next to Jimin's silver cylinder pencil holder and beside that was his laptop which was on and showed Jimin's screen saver: a curvy woman wearing a crop top and short shorts. Her bust was huge and she was seductively biting her red painted fingernail.
"Oh..." Yoonji awkwardly said. She pointed at his laptop screen. "I didn't know you were into that kind of thing..."
Jimin was too busy admiring Yoonji, but when he saw what she was pointing at, he flushed and made a beeline to his laptop and shut it down. "Oh jeez," he said afterwards. "I'm sorry... I haven't changed it since, like, last year, and I forgot about it. Sorry."
Yoonji hummed in response. She was always quiet. That's what guys found interesting; her mysterious self. Jimin also loved that about her. He surely hit the jackpot.
"Do you want any snacks or drinks? I can get some. I have coffee and tea downstairs, if you want," suggested Jimin. Yoonji shook her head.
"I'm okay," she said. "Maybe later."
