Different Groups, Same Feelings

"Guys, I think I'm gay."

Minki, who's watching a movie with Dongho and Jonghyun, shrugs. "Cool?"

Jonghyun's ears perk up. "You're what?"

"I said I think I'm gay."

Dongho laughs and Minki slaps his forehead. "What the heck? I was laughing at the movie!"

"Oh, sorry."

Jonghyun asks, "who are you gay for?"

The eldests hands become sweaty. The group tried to avoid a specific name after Produce 101, Season Two had ended.

"If I say it, then I would probably trigger you guys."

Minki handed back Dongho his Gatorade that he just took a sip from. "Spill it."

Aron takes in a deep breath before revealing it. "Minhyun."

Dongho sharply turns his head and looks at Aron with the most intimidating, piercing eyes. "I thought we all made a promise not to speak of that name." He patted Jonghyun's thigh. "Hyung, he just said his name."

The leader looked down. He didn't know what to say. The depression still lingered in his small heart. Finally he whispered, "cool."

"Are you seriously going to let that slide, hyung? He just said the name!" Minki exclaimed. He was always the one who was tight on deals or promises. He didn't like to break them.

"Yeah, I'm going to let it slide. It's fine. It's not like he's gone forever. We need to deal with him being gone temporarily so maybe let's just end that whole 'not-saying-his-name' promise because to be honest, his name is going to slip out of mouths sometime later on anyways."

"But it still makes me cry," Minki replied as he twiddled with his fingers.

Baekho hugged the younger. "It's okay, Minki. He's going to come back. He might be gone and ten times popular than Nu'est, but we'll stay strong without him in the mean time." His own eyes were trying not to let his salty tears escape.

Aron kicked lightly at the brown carpet. "So... Are you guys cool with me being gay for you-know-who?"

The three nodded.

"Yeah," Jonghyun answered, "just please be careful. Don't let the company know. Not even a trusted noona. Our noona's can be secretive as shit sometimes."

Aron agreed. "True. I'll keep it a secret."

"Great."

"Are you guys fine with me having feelings on Aron?"

Daniel looked at each and every one of the member's faces for approval. All of them seemed to be okay with it. "Yes, you're good. Just keep quiet about it. Don't talk about it in the van, the plane, or anywhere else in public. What happens in the dorms, stay in the dorms, got it?"

"Yes."

"Strawberry milk is life," Aron said to himself while he was busy opening the package of small strawberry milk cartons in the kitchen.

Dongho came up behind Aron and tapped his shoulder. "Hyung, can I go to the mini mart and buy some chips?"

"And chocolate!!!" Jonghyun yelled from upstairs.

"And chocolate," Dongho added.

Aron shook his head. "No, you're not going alone. I'm coming with you."
