The Hunger Games - Second Quarter

"How was it? Watching your sister and Gale in the arena?" The interviewer asked Katniss.

"Scary. She almost died in tons of places, she had me on the edge of my seat. And Gale, well he lasted a long time alone just living off apples and bark." Katniss says. "I'm sure everyone felt the same."

"And you, Peeta?" He asked.

"Scared, shes my sister-in-law. I was terrified for both her, Katniss, Gale, myself, and all of Panem." Peeta replied. The interviewer asked us tons of questions but finally the interview was over, I can go to bed. It was late and very cold. I never really did look at the District until now but it was armed with peace keepers, everywhere. I kept close to Gale and had my head down. He put an arm around me. When we got back to the train all I wanted was to sleep, but nope Effie had to give us a long speech about what is expected. Finally her hour ling speech had come to an end and I could go to bed.

"The seventy fifth is coming up." I hear Haymitch say while I was putting on my pajamas. I walk over to the door and put my ear on it.

"That dosent mean snow is going to put us all in." I hear Katniss reply.

"You gave him a promise that you and Peeta would do him a favour if Gale and Elsa came out alive." Haymitch says.

"Who knows what he'll do." Katniss says.

"I know Snow and because of both Elsa and Gale starting all these up rising hes going to get rid of you all." Haymitch says. "And enjoy every second of it."

"Okay." I hear Katniss says and then it went silent. I went back to bed after that.
