Both Gale and Haymitch's words went in circles around my head. I spent the last day on the train in my room thinking. Katniss brought me food every once and a while, Peeta brought me water.

"Elsa." I hear a voice at my door say.

"Come in." I reply and the door slides open automatically. Haymitch walks in and sits at the end of my bed, near my feet.

"Theres an hour until we get home." He says.

I shrug, "I'll just stay here then. "

"No Elsa, go into the window cart." He says, "I'll come with you."

The window cart is what we call one of the train carts that is all windows, its at the end of the train and super nice.

"Fine." I groan after two minutes of silence. I was still wearing the outfit from the party last night, I fell asleep in it. When i finally managed to get up off my bed, Haymitch threw clothes at me.

"Effie demands you change clothes," He says then leaves the room, "I'll be in the window cart."

After I knew he left I took off the black dress and it felt like weights had been lifted off my shoulders, that dress was suprinsly heavy. I slipped on the other clothes which were a blue top, and jeans. There were ballet flats near my door that I brought before we left. I also threw my semi curled hair into a bun and wiped off any black smears that wet underneath my eyes due to crying and sleeping with the dark make up on. Then I headed towards the window cart. Before I left my room I made sure that Gale wasn't in the kitchen. I ran through that cart and entered the one where all the boy's room were. I let out a loud sigh when I walked past Gale's room. He opened his door quickly once I had passed. I looked back and walked swiftly to the end of the cart and entered the window cart. Haymitch stood there, his back was facing me, he stood there watching the hills we were currently passing.

"I'm here." I said quietly. He must've not heard me come in because he jumped a bit when I spoke.

"Elsa." he said. He sat down and patted the spot next to him, telling me to sit down. I did.

"Isn't the view pretty?" He asks. I nodded slightly.

Haymitch and I made small talk for about an hour until Effie came in.

"Oh!" She cheered, "Good! Haymitch, Elsa, there's about 15 minutes till were home." She left at that.

"You know how Snow told you that you had to make him believe you loved Gale?" Haymitch asks.

I let out a sigh, "Yeah." I said.

"I think you're going to have to get married." He says.

"What?!" I exclaim standing up factly, "No."

"It's one of the only ways Elsa." Haymitch says standing up also.

"There has to be another way." I protest.

"No Elsa, there isn't. " Haymitch says.

"What about, lying and.. and.. or saying I love you or something or-" I stammered but stopped because the room when dark. We were entering District 12. When the room became light again Haymitch's eyes lit up, and turned into a stare. I turned around to see what he was staring at and I couldn't believe what I saw. All over the walls were words written in what I perceive to be red paint "The Odds are NEVER in our favor." some said, "Let the Rebellion begin." others had said, "If We Burn You Burn With Us." that one stood out to me, if District 12 burns down, so does the capitol.

"What does this mean?" I ask Haymitch.

"The Rebellion is beginning. " He says.

"District 12 is going to burn to the ground." I say my eyes were still gazing out the windows at the words outside.
