(Lutz with a beanie on is my favorite....Anyways, here's the third chapter everyone!)
My eyes widened in shock at what fell out. My phone was laying on the bed amidst the candy, it's charger connected to a wall plug beside it.
I….I could get into contact with my family….
Luciano must have forgotten to check my bag amidst all the craziness in the hospital.
Haydn had told me that he had taken her phone shortly after I had been admitted. She had been upset, saying we could have called the police or our parents and gotten out of here.
But I knew this would be risky. I couldn't let them catch me with the phone, or they would instantly take it. Any chance we had of contacting the outside world would be thrown out the window. I would have to be extremely careful going about this…
I grabbed the phone and the charger, sneaking over to the closet. There had been a plug inside it the last time I checked, which would be much better than leaving it charging in an open room for anyone to see.
As I plugged the charger into the wall and then my phone, I thanked my lucky stars that I had brought my charger along that day. I hadn't been sure how long we would be there, and thought my phone might die.
I decided to put my bag in front of it just in case before closing the closet. I jumped back into bed, moving the candy into the same drawer I had placed the knives. I layed back on the bed, deciding that I should get some sleep for now.
“Wake up!” someone was shaking me.
I was able to quickly recognize the whining voice to be my sister's. I opened an eye to confirm it.
“It's already lunch time,” she criticized. “You need to get up.”
I groaned. “Yeah, yeah. I will in a minute.”
“I'm going back down to make the two of us some lunch,” she moved to the doorway. “You better be downstairs in ten minutes or I'll send Allen up here. I've already stopped him from coming up here and jumping on you once.”
“Thanks,” I called after her.
I dragged myself out of bed, going in the bathroom that was connected to the room to wash my face and put on the little bit of makeup I usually used. I was ready and dressed, heading down the stairs before Haydn could even think to send Allen up.
“Morning,” I greeted everyone.
Everyone was downstairs in either the living room or dining room by this point, except for Gillen and Viktor. I had heard the two usually spent their time in either their rooms or the library, neither being much for socializing.
“You mean afternoon?” Kuro raised an eyebrow at me with a small grin.
They all loved teasing me over how late I slept.
“Oh shush,” I rolled my eyes. “It's my morning, alright?”
A few of the guys chuckled.
“Whatcha making?” I asked, going up to Haydn in the kitchen.
“Just sandwiches, nothing fancy,” she replied, handing me one. “Just in time.”
“Thanks, you're such a good little sister,” I gushed, moving over to sit at the table with her.
“I think the roles are supposed to be reversed,” Lutz opened his eyes to glance over at me. “Aren't you supposed to be taking care of her?”
I had thought he had been taking a nap in his chair. His plate from lunch was still sitting on the table in front of him, meaning he had been too lazy to go and clean it after he had finished eating.
