"(Name) wants everyone to watch a movie together tonight after dinner is all cleaned up!" Oliver suddenly spilled to everyone while we were eating.
The two of us had been talking earlier. He had told me that everyone had the night off today, so nobody was going out on a job. I had thought it would be nice for us all to do something together since it had been a while since their last day off.
Oliver had suggested a movie, and I had agreed that it was a good idea. However, I had been waiting to ask if everyone had plans...I didn't want to hold them here if they were already planning on doing something.
"Oliver..." I laughed lightly. "I was waiting to ask them..."
"I'm sorry, poppet," he gave a guilty smile. "I just couldn't wait any longer."
"It's alright," I smiled.
"What type of movie were ya thinking, doll?" Allen asked.
"I'm fine with whatever you guys want to watch," I answered.
"I doubt we will all agree on one," Kuro said. "How about we take a vote on genre?"
There were some nods, so Kuro decided that's what we would do. I told him that they could decide while I cleaned up dinner, although Oliver told me that he would help since it was too much to do alone. He said they could ask him as a tiebreaker if they needed to.
A horror movie ended up being the winner out of the votes, so all of the boys began looking through movies to decide on one while the two of us finished up. I had asked Oliver to help me bake some cookies earlier, as a change of pace to the usual cupcakes, so I got them out once we were done so that I could pass them out.
Everyone was already sitting down in the living room waiting for us when we walked into the room, so I went over to pass out the cookies to everyone.
"What's this for, bella?" Flavio asked. "Did you make these?"
"Well, yeah, I made them," I smiled. "But Oliver helped. I wanted to share them with everyone tonight."
"Aw, you're so sweet!" he exclaimed, jumping up to hug me. "Thank you, bella."
There were echoes of thank yous around the room. I grinned in delight.
"Come and sit next to me," Flavio pulled me over towards one of the couches before sitting back down.
"Sure," I nodded, sitting in between him and Lutz.
Once we were all settled, Francois started the movie. I had to admit, while I happened to like horror movies, I wasn't exactly immune to getting scared during them. But seeing some of the guys reactions to the scares happened to be pretty funny, especially when they were worse than mine.
Flavio was easily scared, and would cling onto Luciano. However, Luciano didn't find it very amusing. He would get extremely annoyed and try to knock Flavio off, but that would only make him cling tighter. Oliver wasn't too bad, but he would grab Allen or Matt's arm if he was taken by surprise. Francois, on the other hand, was flat out asleep by the halfway point of the movie, much to my amusement.
But either way, I was glad my reactions weren't as bad as Flavio's. If he wasn't so scared himself, I would have grabbed onto him if I needed to, but I was sure that would annoy Luciano even more. He wasn't willing to have Flavio all over him, after all. That left Lutz, and I wasn't too sure about that....
I knew that he wouldn't really have a problem with me clinging to him, but still. Would he laugh if he noticed that I was scared? He had been completely straight faced most of the time, after all, and had even let out a low chuckle at some points.
I guess it was a bit foolish to think that Lutz wouldn't notice that I was scared as well. My reactions weren't exactly subtle, so of course he noticed when I would flinch or jump in fear when something happened during the movie.
The atmosphere was particularly suspenseful at the moment, so I was attempting to prepare myself for a jump scare, or something of the sort. Lutz must have thought the same thing was going to happen soon, because he slipped his arm around my shoulders.
I glanced up in surprise.
"I can comfort you if you're scared, frau," he leaned down to whisper into my ear so we wouldn't disrupt anyone else.
I was about to tell him that I was alright, but the jump scare I had trying to anticipate caught me off guard, causing me to clutch onto his shirt, huddling closer to him. There was a small smirk on his face, but he didn't say anything.
When the movie ended, Lutz let me go before stretching with a yawn, mumbling about being tired. Luciano had jumped up beside us, attempting to pry his brother off of him. Flavio wasn't giving in, however, and was begging to sleep with him since he would be too scared to sleep on his own.
Zao had gone out back to smoke from his pipe, Kuro going with him, while Viktor and Gillen went upstairs to go back to their rooms. That left Allen and Matt with a sleeping Francois and a freaked out Oliver to deal with. The two attempted to get Oliver to help them carry Francois to bed, but eventually decided to just leave him there on the couch. That left me alone with Lutz.
I got up, stretching as well before turning off the t.v since nobody else was going to do it. I had thought Lutz was just going to go upstairs to go to bed, but I was surprised to see he was still waiting for me. We walked up the stairs in silence for the most part, up until I stopped on my floor to tell him goodnight.
"If you're still scared I can sleep with you," he offered with a smirk.
I laughed. "Oh really? Who said I was still scared?"
"Could have fooled me," he leaned against the wall.
"I could say the same," I grinned, crossing my arms against my chest. "Sounds like you just want an excuse to sleep with me."
He shrugged. "And it sounds like you aren't opposed. You didn't say no, after all."
I couldn't help but let out a surprised noise. That's right...I hadn't said no.
I rolled my eyes. "And I didn't say yes, either."
"That means I can persuade you," he pointed out.I didn't respond, so he stepped closer, placing an arm around my waist. His other hand rested against my cheek so that his fingers were also in my hair.
"What are you up to?" I questioned."When are you gonna admit your feelings for me?" he ignored my question.
I blushed out of surprise. "How...how did you know?"
"I may not act like I pay much attention, but I've been able to figure out that much at least," he grinned.
"Well if you already know, there isn't much to say..." I murmured.
He chuckled. "Talking is too much work, anyways."
He didn't hesitate to lean down and kiss me, the hand that was resting on my cheek moving down to grope my backside. I wasn't surprised, considering this was Lutz, after all. But he pulled away much faster than I had expected.
"How about we continue this in your room?" he smirked.
I let out a short laugh. "I guess we can do that."
