"Everyone has been so busy lately," Oliver complained during dinner.

"We've had big jobs coming in," Matt shrugged.

"Luci's been trying to get them all out of the way so that we'll have some time off for the ball coming up!" Flavio explained. "Otherwise we would have the usual amount of time to complete them."

"It's exhausting," Lutz yawned.

Haydn glanced over at me in confusion. She usually never stayed out late. Normally she would be in her room at least, lying down and relaxing by nine pm.

Because of that, she never really knew about when anyone left on jobs unless they happened during the day, which, of course, was hardly ever.

"Pretty much everyone has been sent out on a job in the last week or so," I explained.

"Oh," she nodded.

"Why don't we all do something to relax then?" Allen offered. "No one's going out on any jobs tonight, so it's the perfect opportunity, ya know?"

"We could all go swimming," Lutz glanced over at me, grinning as he spoke.

I rolled my eyes at him.

"That doesn't sound like a bad idea," Allen agreed.

"Let's all swim!" Oliver nodded with excitement.

"My hair might get messed up..." Flavio muttered.

I had to cover my mouth, focusing all my attention on not letting my laughter slip out. Of course Flavio would be worried about his hair...

"You could just sit on the steps, or relax on one of the pool chairs," Haydn pointed out.

"I guess I could do that," his eyes lit up at the idea. "Let's swim then! Luci, does that sound alright to you?"

"Don't call me that," he snapped with a glare. "You don't need my permission to swim."

"But you're going to come too, right fratello?" Flavio whined.

"I don't have any interest in swimming with everyone," Luciano crossed his arms over his chest.

"Aw, come on!" I spoke up to help Flavio. "Why not just swim with us for a little while?"

Luciano looked to be caught off guard that I was asking him to join us.

"If you really want me to, ragazza..." he sighed, glancing away.

"Yay!" Flavio cheered. "Thanks, bella!"

"Of course," I chuckled lightly.

"So does anyone else not want to go?" Zao asked.

I glanced around the table. Nobody else was saying anything, so that meant that they were all fine with swimming together. I was surprised that even Viktor and Gillen agreed.

After we had all finished dinner, and it was all cleaned up, everyone went upstairs to their separate rooms to change into their swimming suits.

I made sure to catch Haydn before she left to go downstairs so that she could help me with tying the strings on my top. I didn't really want to have to ask one of the boys to help me again.

The two of us walked down together. We were the second to last to arrive. Now we were just waiting on Flavio. I couldn't say I was all too surprised about that.

By the time he came down to the pool, everyone had gotten in, other than Viktor and Gillen, who had just brought their books down with them so they could sit and read on the pool chairs.
