The sun starting to set makes the strings of lights come on over head, dimly lighting the grounds of the amusement park. The smell of greasy food and cotton candy filling the air making anyone recall memories of your childhood.

Though it is meant to be a fun place full of laughter, I can't shake this feeling. You know the feeling you get when someone is watching you, but your in a crowd and all the passing faces blur to make it impossible to find the one making your skin crawl with goosebumps?

That is the situation that I am in right now. Slightly lost and feeling weird.

"Ronnie!" I turn and look at all the faces again, my eyes scanning the crowd when I notice a figure int the distance jumping up and down waving her arms. Ashley.

Making my way through the crowd, I stop when a figure is standing a few feet away staring at me; his clothes are dark and his skin is really pale. His eyes looking at me while his tongue slides along his lips. Though he is far away and the crowd is making a constant noise, his words are crystal clear.

"Soon Ronnie, I'm going to get you."

My body freezes and I stand there shaking, who is that? How do they know me?

"Hey! what are you looking at?" Ashley bumps me and I snap out of it, looking around to see where the man went.

"N-nothing." I give her a fake smile and see Mackenzie, Ben and Jordan coming through the crowd of people into the amusement park.

"Elex should be here too." Ashley says, looking around, "Oh there he is." I follow her finger as she points to a wall out of the crowd, his arms folded as he leans against the wall; a herd of girls swarmed around him.

As if he knew I was watching him, his eyes find me and he starts to walk towards us; quickly I pull Ashley through the crowd and hide us in an old room of mirrors.

"What are you doing?" Ashley asks laughing.

"I wanted to see if he would still be able to find us." I laugh slightly, feeling butterflies all of a sudden wondering if he will be able to. An old imagine of him and me in the past running through an apple orchard coming into my mind; the smell of the apple blossoms and light breeze warm on my skin.

"Well, I think you better try something soon." Ashley says pulling me back to the present.

"Why?"

"Because here he comes." She points and I see him entering the room of mirrors.

We both laugh and split up going further in, twisting and turning; with my hands out in front of me finding new passage ways, I end up in a hexagon shaped room and I look at myself in each mirror, but stop when I see myself in old fashioned clothes.

My hair short and in a 1920's flapper dress, my stockings torn and knees scrapped- the blood clotting in the fabric. I look back to my face and see someone coming up behind me, their hand grabbing my throat and ripping it out. The blood dripping down onto the beautifully designed dress.

"Run." My reflection whispered to me before it disappeared.

I stumble backwards and bump into a hard chest, I shove away from it and press myself against the further-est mirror. Putting my hands up to protect myself.

"Ronnie, hey. its ok." Warm hands caress my back and I look up to see Elex; my body moves on its own and I curl myself into his chest, clinging to his shirt.

"Shhh, I've got you." He whispers to me and runs a hand through my hair, holding my head against his chest.

"He is here, I saw him. He killed me." I look up at Elex panicked, he looks at me worried.

"The janitor?" He asks, helping me to my feet.

"No, this man was different. He was confident and he knew my name."

Elex's eyes dilate and he grips my hand tightly, "We need to go."

Before I can say anything else, Elex is leading me through the room of mirrors and we get out to the main walk; but something isn't right. Everyone is gone.

The music still playing, the lights still one, the sound of the rides still going; but there is no one on the rides, eating the food, or walking around laughing.

Elex curses under his breathe, "He planned this."

"Who is "He"?" I ask, as Elex looks around.

"Elex, Ronnie!" Ashley calls out and runs towards us, followed by Ben, Mackenzie and Jordan.

"What's going on?" Jordan asks, looking around.

"We don't know." Elex answers honestly, "Ronnie said that she saw "him" though."

They all are quiet for a moment, looking at each other with concerned glances.

"Why would he pick here?" Ben asks.

"Because its the perfect way to entertain himself," MacKenzie answers.

"We-" Before Elex can finish, the music gets older and over the intercom a deep voices says, "Welcome to my fun house everyone, tonight will be a test to see who cares about who; since you all consider yourselves to be family. Let's see how much that really means."

I glance up at Elex as he squeezes my hand, his jaw clenched.

"You all have 5 minutes to get in your places or I'll release the rogues."

Ashley gasps and Jordan curses.

"Is he for real?" Jordan says shocked.

"Dead serious." Elex replies as we hear the voice start to count down.

"5!"

Elex holds my hand and starts to run to where his name is blinking of a sign a crossed the park and I look around seeing everyone doing the same on where they see their own names.

"4!"

A loud gun shot echoes over the music and Elex falls to the ground clutching his shoulder.

"Tsk, Tsk, Elex." The voice mocks. "That sign just says your name, you'll have to let your rabbit go to its own."

"F- you!" Elex spits.

"3!"

"It's ok." I say, crouching down next to him, I look him in the eye and caress his face; slowly I lean in and kiss him lightly. "This won't be the last time we see each other."

Standing up quickly before he can stop me, I start sprinting to where my name is flashing in bright lights. Elex yells my name and I feel so much fear and pain with how desperate he sounds.
