Lucifer POV
*************

My dad is going to skin me alive. I can already hear what he's going to say. What have I gotten myself into?

I'm currently on my way to my pack home. I'm in the truck and my mates father is glaring at me. His eyes burn into my soul. He scares me more than my very own father.

"What's your name?" He asked coldly.

"...Lucifer." I answer. He burst with laughter.

"Lucifer Dean Adams?" He asks.

"Yessir."

"Last time I saw you, you were two years old and I was cracking a deal with you father." He said. "He is going to boil you until your skin falls over your bones." He scoffed followed by a snicker.

"See you know my father, which is why you can't tell him what I did." I say. "He's already mad at me for something else I did pretty recent."

"Yes I know Allen. He is one ruthless bastard, but he makes one hell of a ally." He says.

"It was a acci-"

He instantly stopped laughing and glared at me. "Don't pull that shit with me boy." He growled dangerously. "You fought my son inlaw and threatened his life with my daughter, then you kidnap my grandkid. Kid if you're trying to win me over as the father of your mate." He scoffed followed by another fake laugh. "This is a terrible way to start off."

"Sir. You hadn't killed me because, I'm mated to your daughter. No matter how pissed you are at me, you want me to be with her 'cause it would help your pack. You may love the dude that she's married to, but you want me alive so I would have a shot." He gives me a nimble look. "So hate to ruin your righteous moment but, it doesn't matter how I impress you, I don't even have to try 'cause all you need to know is my mated to your daughter and all I have to do is take that Calvin out of the picture." He didn't respond, so I relaxed and smiled.

"Ok. You're smart."

"According to my family not so much, but I'm Alpha, and I know how our brains work."

"See you said our brains, kid. See you met Cassandra when she was sad, but I have no authority over what she decides. As a teenager she'd barely listen to me, but I love my daughter more than the pack and they know that. So what my daughter wants she gets. Whatever she doesn't want, she's going to pretend like she didn't see it, if she felt something she's not going to feel it, and she will act like this never happened and once she's at that mind set you might as well be going to a pack of rogues and surrender your life. She's my heir and she's my brain, and you can't possibly think the way of an Alpha because you have the blood but not the crown. She's been Alpha Luna for 5 years running the pack and gained us more territory and appealed to better nature of rogues to hold land and common grounds on where one another stands." He says smiling by stealing my triumph making me to give up already. "She's a groan woman, and you're still a kid. So keep quiet and enjoy the ride, because it's going to be a long one."
